Super cool 2-hour activity when visiting the Mt. Washington area. Our guide, Bruce, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area and the Auto Road, the weather and the different ecosystems found on Mt. Washington. It's about a 50-minute ride up. We got to get out and walk around and take in the views at the top. Luckily we had stellar weather and the views were amazing. The snow coach does not take you all the way to the summit as conditions in the winter don't allow for that. Still, It was a great experience.

Such a great time! From the moment we arrived and checked in with Nancy to meeting our driver Jeff for our Snow Coach, all so personable and friendly.
This was my birthday gift from my family. And although it was not a bluebird sky day it was lightly snowing, not freezing cold and no wind. We enjoyed our ride up Mt Washington, talking and laughing with Jeff. At our drop location Jeff was so kind to snap a few pics for us. We snowshoed down and that was terrific!

Mark is an amazing tour guide for the snow coach! He is knowledgeable and shares personal stories about the history of Mount Washington. Making the trip relaxing, interesting and fun. I highly recommend booking with him!

Our experience was amazing! Our tour guide Jeff delivered not only great history info but with a fun sense of humor. We were lucky to have a blue bird day, making the views that much more spectacular! On our way back down, we were dropped off to finish our decend on snowshoes. I highly recommend this experience if you have a love for the mountains like I do!

Gorgeous place for cross-country skiing! It is a shame that during our visit the trails were in a bad conditions in woods (January 6, 2025). But the view from the Base Lodge is beautiful after ski with a cup of hot tea. We stayed until the closure at 4pm! Definitely we will come back when there will be plenty of snow!

The Snow Coach tour was a great highlight of our vacation! Our guide Mark took us up 4000 feet on Mount Washington! The ride, the views and his stories were awesome! He had some amazing personal family history to share. We went about 3 miles below the summit and felt like we're on top of the world. It was windy and cold but I'll remember this forever!

It was very cool. Great history of the mountain and how explorers created the road to the top! awesome views at 4200’ at the winter cutoff. Guide Marc was very knowledgeable. Beautiful winter sights!

Two of us took a classic cross country ski lesson. We decided the morning of and booked it online an hour before. (This was on a Friday in January) Easy online booking that asked for all the details needed for rentals. We arrived a few minutes late but staff had the gear waiting for us. Our instructor, Karen, was super friendly and knowledgeable. She taught us some basic and had us practicing right in front of the lodge. Then she took us on the trails to continue teaching different techniques. She gave us tips along the way. She was confident that we had learned what we need to so left us at the end of the lesson to continue exploring vs having us return to the building. Our lesson included all day rentals but we chose not to stay all day.

The conditions were hardpacked groomed as not much snow had fallen. Not much terrain was open but we were still able to explore to a small cabin. It was a clear day so the views were amazing of the mountains at breaks in the trees. We will definitely try again.
