I come to Keene often, and I had been staying in chain hotels when I visit. So glad I discovered Burrell House! Cozy, clean & private rooms. Love the historic details like the gorgeous marble fireplace in my room. (I do wish the bathroom was more Victorian-authentic, though.) Easy contactless entry & lots of off-street parking. This is my new favorite accommodation in Keene. I’ll be back.

Reasonable, convenient, warmish (radiant heat takes a while, like radiators except slower). Clean, ample parking, and they got right back to us when we had a question. Room number 9 is really tiny, which we didn't expect. If you're staying for longer than a few days, it's gonna be right. We were in and out and hiking, so it didn't really matter. Overall very nice. walked to town and had excellent meals and coffee. Recommended. Free coffee was a pleasure in the morning, basic Keurig but better than nothing.

Unique little inn dating back to the 1850s. Each room is different but well furnished with microwave, fridge, and coffee machine. The beds were very comfortable and the whole place was very clean. Our family rented 5 rooms and spent evenings together in the parlour. We walked to the bakery for breakfast and easy walking to restaurants in town for dinner. The hotel definitely is not handicap friendly if you need that, but otherwise very pleasant and a great location in Keene.

You might think that nothing but 5 star reviews is a hoax, but you'd be wrong! My first time in Keene, and if I ever come back I know where I'll stay! First class in every respect.

Excellent experience. Beautiful historic property. Clean, well-appointed room. Comfy bed. Cozy towels. Easy check-in via text message with entry codes. Easy walk to Court Square restaurants etc.

Reinforcing what others have said: This an AirBNB-style property. There is a nice little coffee station in the room but no food available. You will not meet the innkeeper/staff and may not have opportunity to interact any other guests. So...not an Inn in that sense. Very good for a room. Will definitely stay again.

I reserved the Burrell House Inn for myself and my wedding party. The house has been updated with modern amenities but still has a beautiful, historic feel. The rooms are nicely arranged and appear larger in person than in pictures. The location is unbeatable, leaving you just a five-minute walk from Keene's Main Street.

Josh and Ditteke are also wonderful hosts. I reached out to them a few times ahead of the weekend to discuss logistics, and they were very helpful each time I spoke to them. They were very responsive the weekend we had our reservation as issues arose. I highly recommend that anyone who is visiting Keene stay at the Burrell House Inn.

This historic house has been beautifully restored with clean, tasteful decorations and modern appointed fixtures. My husband and I stayed in The Ivory Room, surrounded by plentiful windows that benefited from the natural lighting and clever use of converted space.
Our experience was quite cozy, and located within walkable distance to the active Main Street.
A tip for travelers with heavy baggage, this room is located at the top of a thin stair case.
