We have been staying at Hendrickson House for the past 3 years for the Bayfield Applefest. It is a perfect spot to stay anytime you are in Bayfield. Great house, sleeps 4 with a pullout couch. Great front porch and back deck to look over the town and the big water. 1/4 of a block off main street. The contact person Jack has been great too work with as well. He makes it easy. It’s always clean. Check it out!

The upstairs bedroom and sitting area is terrific, but even the downstairs pull-out was very comfortable with the extra padding included with the linens. Downstairs dining and sitting area is all anyone could wish.
Kitchen is fully supplied with dishes, pots, utensils, two small refrigerators and a nice flat-top stove. Both a regular Mr. Coffee maker and a Keurig machine supplied.
Both the front and back porches were pleasant retreats at different times of the day.
Location is perfect.
Would absolutely stay again.

My friend and I took a girls trip to Bayfield and stayed in the Carriage House. It was delightful. Really cute and well appointed. I slept on the futon and it was totally comfortable. The absolute best part was the location. It could not have been more perfect! Walking distance to everything, easy parking. We had an issue with the toilet and Jack was quick to respond and when he couldn’t resolve it that evening, he had us move to the Hendrickson House next door for the night. And he was super humorous about it, which helped us feel at ease! So we experienced both places, thanks to his quick and effective customer service. The Hendrickson House is just as delightful as the Carriage House. It’s bigger, great for families, a little more “modern” and updated. The weekend was perfect and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else on my future trips to Bayfield! I’ll be back!

This charming property in Bayfield has everything our family of four needed. The queen bed was comfortable. Our 2 young children shared the futon. It was clean. It was nice to have a full kitchen. The location is ideally located a few yards from hiking, shopping, restaurants, the ferry to Madeline Island, the National Park service boat tour launching site to Apostle Islands and a short drive to all the apple/berry farms. The keyless entry worked well. We appreciated the helpful dining suggestions left by the owners. We really enjoyed our visit to Bayfield and hope to return again. We would be happy to stay at the same location!

It was our first time in the Apostle Islands and this house helped make our stay perfect! It had everything we needed and was steps away from shops, bars, restaurants, and the water! We sat out on the back porch many times to relax and enjoy the peaceful neighborhood. We were also lucky enough to meet the owners who made sure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we needed. Lovely place to stay!

We absolutely loved everything about this house. Location was perfect! Steps from down but tucked off the main drag. Amazing views from upstairs. Back deck and front porch also provided great space to enjoy the view. Kitchen was fantastic. An overall top-notch property. We will be back!

Wonderful place! Perfect location, you can walk to everything. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Jack is easy to work with and has good communication. If you are looking for a Bayfield experience and a great place to stay would highly recommend.
