Fished June 3 with Tom, it was a very rainy morning, the boat accommodation was great! Stayed dry, only needed to step out to reel in a fish. Tom worked hard to make sure you limit out on your lake trout! Really enjoyed the trip with the family. Made a good memory! Tom will put you on to the fish and the full day trip was worth it.

Some of my family had reservations for this fishing trip but we all had a great time and a lot of fish to bring home. Caption Jim and his first mate (Jim) were great and showed me how to prepare the fish after they cleaned them on the ride back. You cannot beat that Salmon and Lake trout in the cooler.

We had the best time on this fishing trip. First Mate Jim had my grandson doing the fish dance and my granddaughter was hosing the deck. While Captain Jim had my grandson monitoring the fish finder. They were charmed. I couldn’t be more pleased. Not to mention the excitement of catch that load of fish! They agreed that the “Dipsy Queen” caught the most fish due to my 4 in 1 haul of the final salmon of the day (she had 3 whole smelt in her belly) bringing my total to 5. LoL. Just wanted to say thank you for a 5 star experience! Will call about booking for our anniversary trip next year!

Update:
We did a full day this Spring with Capt. Tom with our same crew. Same great experience...so much so that we booked again before departing from this charter for 2025 (maybe another 1/2 day yet for this Summer) I would say Superior Sport Fishing is the only charter I will use.
Would I recommend? Abso-effing-lutely!
This was my 1st charter experience & I couldn't have been happier with it. We had 4 persons in our group; some with big lake experience, some without.
The water was pretty rough with rollers but we still caught Lakers & my husband caught a Brown trout. My friend did some chummin' when she got a bit sea sick too!
Ours was a 1/2 day trip 🙂
We LOVED it so much, we booked again for a Spring full-day trip for 2024 (& probably another August trip when we're back up for our annual vacation lol)

Great trip! The Captain is knowledgeable of the local waters and we all limited out. Also one of the most beautiful places to fish in the country.
