We stayed at the Harbor Beach House last Memorial Day weekend and loved it. Beautiful location, very nice house with arguably the best view on the island in my opinion. We are returning this year and staying in a different cottage in the woods for a different experience. Communication has always been quick and easy with the staff, we will continue to use their services for years to come.

OVERPRICED FOR THE McGill Cabin ACCOMMODATIONS:
Pros: Beautiful view
Cons: Mouse was living there with us, bathroom window would not close, no window covering for "master" bedroom (faces east), no ice maker, scratches on doors and floors (but charged us $75 for pet fee, why?)

I asked for a partial refund after many mouse sightings resulted in a sleepless night, but the owners refused. While the view of the lake is lovely, the cabin is not in good shape and is not as close to town as we were led to believe.

The worst high ended rental experience we have had. Bearpaw is a lovely house, but they lock up the laundry so guests cannot use it. To give them credit, once we complained, they sent the cleaners to open it up. But the web site omits the fact and doesn't warn you at all that if you have laundry, you need to go to the laundrymat.

The hot-water heater is on conservation mode so it doesn't work from 8 AM to 8PM. We ended up not being able to give our children baths at night because it didn't turn on until after their bedtime so they went to bed covered in bug spray and suntan lotion. The dishwasher used up all the hot water. I have no problem with conservation, and don't water my lawn, but a luxury rental should allow people to get a hot shower when they want. With 8 of us, this was not possible.

Good service. They seem a little Rushed and over worked. All our 2022 rental info was still using 2021 info, house instructuons were not very clear. But no big roadblocks getting reservation.

Had an excellent experience renting a weekend cabin in the woods overlooking the lake. Very easy to book and check-in. Loved every bit of it. Already planning a trip back to the island.
