We stayed for three nights over Labor Day weekend. We could not of picked a more quaint place than the Hidden Cottage. Its right downtown with a two minute walk to the Pickled Herring and 5 minutes from the end of the pier. It had the uniqueness of an old cottage with the amenities of present day. Even the smell of the cottage had the great aroma of cedar. Thank you for such a wonderful experience of the North Woods in the middle of where we wanted to be. Would definitely rent again for my next trip if available!

The Hidden Cottage was a delightful place to stay in Bayfield (2 adults, 1 teenager). We arrived on a Thursday evening and there was live music right across the street. Such a convenient location, we could walk to all the restaurants in town and it was right around the corner from a farmers market on Saturday morning. It was a great base for kayaking and the ferry to Madeline Island.
