I highly recommend to anyone , young or old , single and families to visit the Apostle's Islands . It's stunning , down to earth country feel , great selection of restaurants and plenty of a things to do such as Grand Apostle's Island Tour, rent sailboats , hike , swim , shop , Ghost Walk ,The Big Top , tour Art Studio's drive to Herbspter Beach and Meyers Beach . Stay at the Pinehurst Inn just outside of Bayfield . A great B&B.

A very nice visitor center with lots of information for visiting the apostle islands. There is A LOT of things to see, learn about, and do in the Apostle Islands. Aaron at the front desk could not have been nicer or more helpful. Great gift shop with local items too.

Currently closed for renovations, but they have some maps and info outside that you can still park and read. The staff has moved over to The Chamber of Commerce at 42 S Broad St, and they could not have been more helpful. They gave us maps and ideas of things to do for the day while we were visiting. The boats also leave from the marina here, so this temporary location is great. We missed the boats for the day, but did the 4.5mi shore cave hike at Meyers Beach, which was perfect if you're short on time but still want to see the sea caves.

A wonderful place to get information on the area and all it has to offer. Very informative brochures and maps can be found here. And an excellent Park Ranger answered all of our questions.

What a unique and beautiful place. The cruise or kayaking is the best way to see the islands. Beaches were clean and the water is chilly. Towns along the way offer a great experience of the area and food.

With any park I visit I always make sure to check in with the Rangers for up to date information, suggestions on what to see, and any hazards that may exist. These Rangers were more than helpful and friendly and while small, the headquarters are a worthwhile visit before you set out to the islands
