Stayed at Bear Paw Lodge recently in the Panda Cabin. It was Beautiful, Clean, Comfortable with an Awesome Deck next to the forest. The Service was Excellent! Thank You Owners Chris and Cheramay. We will definitely return in the near future!!

We stayed in Hidden Pines and it did not disappoint! Clean & cozy with comfy beds, and reasonably priced. Bear Paw staff went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. They helped us choose what activities to do. (There are many!) A beautiful place all around. Perfect for the whole family or just one or two. We hope to be back soon.

Just returned from a family weeding where we had three cabins. The service was excellent, and the owners are wonderful and will go out of their way to help you. Cabins were very clean and at an affordable price point. The small children in our group loved the common area which was filled with a lot of toys to play with. I would recommend a stay at Bear Paw.

We love staying at the Rivers Edge cabin. Literally couldn't be a better cabin in the woods. Update for 2024 when Rivers Edge wasn't available this year Cheremy arranged for us to stay at Grimes Creek vacation home. She was such a pleasure to work with and the cabin was absolutely stunning and in a fantastic location. The whole family had a wonderful time. As someone who cooks a lot I found the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. The pictures don't do this cabin justice I found it was much larger in person and the grounds were even more beautiful. It felt very private and serene.

This was our second time staying at Bear Paw Lodge, this time over the Fourth of July weekend. We had an outstanding time. Chris and Cheramy are fantastic hosts! Looking forward to staying there again next time we are in the area.

We loved our stay at “Top of the Pines”. They were very gracious when we needed to change accommodations at the last second and made efforts to work with us. I’d highly recommend renting through them and would love to next time we are in Durango/Bayfield area

Pleasantly surprised how nice the cabin was. Clean and very homey. Beds were comfortable so we slept great! Lots of outdoor activities and cabins included a few games. Owners thought of everything! We are planning another trip with a longer stay ?

We had an amazing stay at Bear Paw Lodge! Our family of 6 stayed for 5 days, 4 nights and our cabin worked perfectly for us. The cabin was spacious and very clean, and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed for our stay. (Dishes, silverware pans, coffee maker with coffee). The beds were comfortable and each room had its own full set of towels, which was a nice bonus for our large family. The grounds are lovely with a fun swing set that my daughters loved, horseshoes (which my son loved), corn hole, a fire pit. The owners even hung a hammock for my husbands afternoon nap. 🙂 There is a beautiful walking path just down the street, a market up the street, and a fun restaurant/bar across the street. The lodge owners are so friendly and accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed, as well as recommendations on any activities in the area. We will definitely be back!
