Great place to learn to sail and to go sailing! The Apostle Islands are so incredibly beautiful, especially in the fall, and there so many places to explore here. My favorite spot is the Sand Island sea caves. You can take your dinghy inside them and even get out and walk around a bit. Bucket list place for sure. The boats are well maintained and beautiful

I’ve been sailing here for 9 years now. Great staff, the Captains are always friendly, nice boats. The last couple of years our slip has been on the pikes marina. Nice Clubhouse with decent showers. The ship store has what you need including ice for the trip. This year we took out Alyeska. Almost always beautiful sailing in September.

Had a great time sailing on True North for 4 days in July. Beautiful weather and great sailing. True North is a beautiful Sun Odyssey and the mast furling main sail was so handy. The booking and checkin process was smooth and the boat was clean and in great shape. Having never sailed with Superior Charters before and with a fairly small sailing resume on my end (but with ASA certs through 106 and 114), they required me to do a checkout with a local capt. I was initially understanding but not thrilled by the need to prove myself in order to be able to take the boat, however captain Beau was a great resource and was very helpful in kicking off our journey. I absolutely plan to charter with Superior again in the future.

Superior Charters was fantastic to work with all around and allowed us to have an unforgettable adventure in the Apostle Islands. The staff was very helpful and provided great advice on local knowledge of the islands and Bayfield as well as recommendations for anchorages. We bare boat chartered "Clear Air" which was in great shape and sailed very well.

We chartered a 36ft sailing vessel for a Boy Scout summer excursion and we all had a great time. Everything was set up ahead of time, so we just signed in, met out Captain and headed off. Captain Mike Simon knew the Apostle Islands backwards and forth, and did a great job keeping us informed. He knew great sightseeing places, swimming beaches and historic places. I didn't handle the money, but since we were with the Scouts I imagine the cost wasn't too prohibitive. The office staff was great. Our SV Twilight made for great sailing, but they have several other boats to charter also. Great week. Many thanks.

What a great week. We chartered a 36' Jeanneau and booked time with captains on two different days. By week's end we felt comfortable docking, choosing an anchorage and reefing. Twilight had everything we needed. Thanks Superior Charters for helping us experience a week we will never forget!

We chartered Breeze, a 33’ Jeanneau. For a 2 day charter. On our 1st day out we had equipment failure (Headsail shredded in the wind)

offered us another boat (sister ship) for us to continue our charter.
