New owners/hosts are super friendly and a delight to work with. Tara is top notch and communicative. Cabin was spacious and clean. Property is well maintained. 5 out of 5 on best vacations I've ever had. Highly recommended. Restaurant across the street for those days you don't want to cook. Store next door for any items you may have forgotten.

We stayed in the Deer Trail vacation home and loved every minute of it. The vacation home was nice, and very quiet. It was exactly what we were looking for on this trip. Mark and Ashley were wonderful to deal with, answering all of our questions for us. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to really "get away." The area is beautiful, and there are plenty of things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was amazing in cabin 3 they have a wood-burning stove and a nice friendly environment. They were so kind to us and the kitchen everything we could ask for. the pantry was stocked with pancake mix oatmeal syrup and an assortment of delicious teas. The woodstove was already pre-made with kindling and logs there were even instructions on how to light with the pinecone and operate it! A country store next door selling delicious ice cream and the restaurant next door was amazing. The lake was love but still beautiful! We hiked into the Wiminchue Wilderness for an evening hike in an impressive granite Gorge. We then had a delicious dinner at the lodge across the street from Lone Wolf cabins and getaway.

Our family of 4 had the best vacation at Lone Wolf Cabins. We staying in the fishing lodge which was the perfect size for our family. It was cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable. A country store next door. A restaurant/bar across the street. It was decorated for the holiday which made it even more special. We were nervous Texans not used to driving in snowy mountains. I assure you the roads are plowed and the owners shoveled our steps daily and used their snow blower to clear our path as we got 2 feet of snow, which was BEAUTIFUL. Perfect location to get to so many fun activities. Communication with hosts when booking, prior to arrival and while we were guests was impeccable. We would highly reccomend Lone Wolf Cabins. There are a lot of places to stay in this area but we can't wait to return to Lone Wolf Cabins it was really a great getaway!!

We came in December with our kids and another family (3 adults, 6 kids ages 12 and under in the Bear Den cabin) and it was sooooo great! Very clean, a great kitchen with anything you'd need for cooking, very quiet and beautiful. Our kids were able to sled and play in the snow all day, and Mark was so great in providing fun things for them to do and helping them make good sledding trails. They have games and family friendly movies and puzzles you can use. The owners are so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for our stay! We'd come back in a heartbeat!

It was ok. The descriptions were a little ambitious. The deck is a walkway between cabins and you barely had room for a chair and was difficult to walk by. The rooms were clean, but needs some updating. There were holes in the linoleum and the fiberglass of the shower. Also said there was a king bed but it was not maybe a full. It was quiet and the staff were nice.

Much better then we anticipated. We drove up here planning to skip it but after we drove by some of our other options we quickly changed our minds. Nice little cabins, clean, easy access and everyone we talked to was very nice. Our 3 boys loved it. Would definitely come again.

This place is outstanding. Clean cabins, comfortable beds, everything you might possibly need. We just got back today from a relaxing, mind resetting 4 days. Enjoyed my stay. I am very ocd-ish and i didn't have any panic or anxiety issues. I felt so at home there. Planning my next trip. We were in cabin 1, the fishing cabin. (I couldn't included pictures, to big i guess)
