We had a great week at the resort in late September. Cabin/House was super clean, lots of room for the four of us, and easily accessible to the lodge/docks/etc. Rented a boat and it was great. Food and drink at the lodge are really good and everyone is super friendly (including Marlow). Fishing and weather were great! Reminded me of the resort we went to as a kid up by Danbury. We will be back. Highly recommend!

Arrived @ a family cabin Friday afternoon....a little before dinner my aunt wanted to take us to town. Upon arrival this felt comfortable & like the townie bar. The bartender was friendly, who my cousin later told me bartender Brad was the owner as was his wife Becky who was also behind the bar. Friendly Marti wasn't working but was seated near the taps & was a delight. As people would come & go they'd stop to chat up or just say hi to our family that's been coming up here for decades, very nice. As a craft beer lover I aporeciated that they had a couple of taps, nothing overwhelming, just enough to keep you satisfied, besides Busch Light and Michelob Golden Draft Light. Upon arrival the deck was full, as was the inside. I felt silly when on my way to the restroom there were several boys huddled and I thought maybe counting money to play a game as I said "boys" pointing behind one at the $1 I assumed they dropped. They turned, saw me pointing and replied "that's fake". It's a $1 lacquered in to the floor....silly. Ha. This was a great stop and I hope she brings us up for one last stop before we leave town. Thanks for a fun and comfortable afternoon Johnson's!!

Not impressed at all, the only thing we liked about the resort were the docks. Cabins are waaaay to close together. It's definitely liberal owned. Conservatives don't appear to be welcome. Enjoy Biden voters..

While we did not stay at this resort, we did stop for a beer or two on a tour around the Flowage. We were greeted warmly by the new owners who visited with us while we were there. While it sounds the like former owner did not welcome "outsiders" stopping by the bar, the new owners encourage it. They had a nice selection of beverages and run a little ice cream "store" for the resort-goers. It was fun to see the kids stop in for an ice cream cone - and easily gets charged back to their cabin. This place was fun and friendly and all freshened up. We will definitely stop back!

Stopped here several times on recent snowmobile trip. Great owners they were awesome to talk to. The dog and couch in bar are awesome as well. Food was great. Don't forget about this place as it exceeds expectations.

I spent a week with extended family at the Johnson's Resort. The Johnsons went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They got to know us and took care of our needs, including making accommodations for a member of our family going through chemotherapy. I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. Our vacation was great. We will be back!!!

Beautiful modern cabins in a wooded setting. Great docks and great location! Family that owns the resort couldn't have been nicer. Very attentive to their guests. Good bar, the food was very good. We're planning to visit next years!

Brad and Becky are absolutely amazing. We had an amazing time here and the cabin was absolutely stunning. It was the Catfish cabin. ||||The boat was equipped with a fish finder, a trolling motor, and a 75hp main motor. It was everything you could ask for. ||||I've been to three places in the last couple years there and this place was by far the nicest equipped with streaming TV and WiFi that actually works like it should. ||||My grandpa grew up in Stone Lake and I spent my summers in that area at his cottage when I was younger so every time I go back I'm reliving it. ||||5 stars all day long for this resort. I would HIGHLY recommend staying there.
