Very clean big rooms. Staff were very accommodating. They offer grab n go breakfast and they also have a bar with restaurant. Pool and hot tub as well.

The staff here for the most part was good, there was one very rude young woman working the front desk - also wearing sweatpants, I mean come on. We checked in at 3pm after having waited to do so, our room was not ready - like not cleaned at all. They eventually changed the bedding but the room was still filthy - looked like hadn’t been vacuumed or wiped down in probably months. They explained that housekeeping staff had called out, I know it’s hard to get people to work but also maybe explain that before hand instead of being rude. I had requested a first floor room at booking months ago - and the staff member acknowledged that the note was in the reservation - we have a newborn and with no elevator this was EXTREMELY inconvenient - luckily we were able to make it up the stairs, but this shouldn’t have happened - if you have a need for a first floor room because you are unable to use stairs, don’t count on it.

The Walmart candle burning on the front desk should have been a good indication of the quality of the hotel, also pretty sure that violates fire code.

The sheets were full of hair - human and dog it seemed like. There was hair in the shower and sink. And as previously mentioned the floors, walls, and doors were all very dirty. They only give you two bath towels in the room so ask for more at check in if you have more than 2 people.

I would definitely recommend looking at other hotels in town, definitely never coming back.

The staff working here were all very kind and friendly. The staff person moved us from second floor to first floor when we checked in due to an injury that would make stairs very difficult. We got the last room available on the first floor. It smelled like the sewer had probably backed up in it at some point, and the bathroom was dirty. The room itself was fine once we got past the smell, but even the walls were visibly dirty in the bathroom and the sink was dirty.
We did enjoy having the on site restaurant so we didn't have to go out with the injury, and we also enjoyed the affordable movie theater next door.

Last year my daughter and I stopped in Hayward on our way to Marquette Michigan from Nebraska. We stayed at another hotel which was fine. However this time we came with my mom and her dog. I believe it was cumberlands when we started looking for a place that accepted dogs. Every time between there and here did not. Out of the four options on Google this was the only one available in the moments that accepted pets. It was 4:00 in the morning also. The gentleman at the desk was truly amazing. He was kind, prompt, and because of the time we came and gave us a little bit of a discount and an extra hour before we would have to check out. I was also truly amazed at how nice and beautiful the hotel itself was a long with our room. It had a lovely character to it.

Helpful staff over the phone and in person. Clean room with tasteful decor and convenient charming restaurant and bar. Inviting pool and hot tub area. No elevator. Sleeper sofa linens didn't look fresh, and it was easy to get a new set at the front desk.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. I liked that the sheets and linens were clean . Thank you for the new flooring! This has got to be easier to clean for the staff. Now just remove the rug and it's perfect for staff to clean. The bathroom sink and toilet were clean; the walls need attention. The restaurant was awesome! The staff are wonderful and the food was delicious. If we ever come back this way I will stay again! Thank you everyone!

Great hotel to stay at even on a Thursday for work. The food at their restaurant was delicious definitely get the French onion soup.
