I had an excellent stay here with my wife. Everything was beautiful and clean, and the staff were very kind and helpful.
Generally loved the vibrant and relaxed decor and atmosphere!
We also really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, with delicious self serve waffles and oatmeal.
This was a great stay for us.

The four of us found the Home2Suites in Hayward, CA after relocating from another hotel that was unsatisfactory. The front desk was extremely welcoming and went out of their way to immediately get us 2 adjoining rooms. We were so pleased to see the kitchen with a full-sized fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. The wi-fi was nice and strong, which made our daily remote work so much easier. Since our stay was for a full week, we were able to experience the delicious breakfast, the friendliness of the entire staff, and the simple kindnesses they showed us every day. This kindness even extended after our stay. When I realized we left behind some valuable items in our room, Stella at the front desk went out of her way to contact housekeeping, locate the items, and mail then back to us within days. She was wonderful! Kudos to the whole team! I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area.

I was concerned after reading reviews about how our experience would be but I was not surprised when we had a rather nice stay here. The only complaint we had was the bed in our room creaked and my mother could feel springs. She slept on the other side of the bed. I feel bad that I didn't mention this when we checked out so they could address it. Other than that our room was nice, clean and spacious!! |We stayed on the 4th floor in the room next to the stairwell. |We could see our car parked outside from our window. There is security in the parking lot that circles the lot throughout the night. |(I am a night owl so I saw them patrolling.) |The power operated window shades are neat and I'm impressed that they haven't been broken and reduced to manual chain operation like other locations I have stayed in. |It is an ADA room with a roll in shower. The bathroom was so big! |The kitchen was well equipped with a microwave and decent sized fridge. All the dishes necessary. And soap and sponge. |The sofabed was comfortable. When I asked for linens they insisted on having them brought to our room and I had barely closed the door to our room when someone knocked and hand delivered the sofabed linens to me. So in regards to the negative reviews, perhaps in the past there was a staff shortage or something because we had a wonderful experience with the staff and their customer service was great. |The airport next to the hotel was quiet during the night. |The laundry room is next to the fitness room so you can work out while you wash . The washer and dryer were actually rather low cost and the machines take quarters. They are front loading. I brought my own detergent, not sure if they sell any there but I imagine they do. If not there are places nearby you can buy some. |I didn't use the fitness equipment but there are 2 treadmills and an an elliptical and I think there was a peloton bike. Also hand weights.|The breakfast was nice little buffet style with cereal, oatmeal, waffle maker, egg patties, cheese, bread, biscuits, milk, coffee, juice. |This is a nice place to stay. I would stay again. |I will also say , the day/night we stayed here, this was the only hotel in the area that wasn't out of their mind charging around $300+ a night. I dunno what was going on that all the other hotels in the Bay area were tripping with exorbitant prices but I appreciate home2suites Hayward for their reasonable pricing. Thank you.

Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. When we checked in, no one informed us that we had to request housekeeping service. When we called down to ask for towels, it took 4 calls just to get someone to answer the phone. When the front desk finally answered, the woman was rude, acted like it was my fault, and said she wasn’t even sure if she had four clean towels available. She also mentioned she was the only one on staff, which might explain the terrible customer service ,but not excuse it. Overall, the customer service has been absolutely awful, ranging from indifferent to completely nonexistent. She also let me know a manager was not available to speak with until Monday (conveniently after we check out).

Located next to a municipal airport, there was some noise. The bed was squeaky and overly soft. On a more positive note: they served a decent breakfast and had security patrolling the parking lot frequently.

I always check in this place for years and after this unfortunate event, I would want to put a review.
I travel for work and when I travel to the bay I always check in at this place. Last week my company made a mistake on the dates and I happed. To get it on an email so I called in and mentioned that it was a mistake and asked if cancel or modify the date and the front desk told me “You can't it's past the deadline” I said it was our company's fault and staff j ows me there are said well sir we are going to charge you. So I asked if I could talk to customer services about this she said “ I'm customer service and if the manager was around said I'm the manager. I said I know you have a manager. I called the customer service number a guess what they got to cancel the reservation. Less than 10 minutes and the agent was the one to apologize for the issues. So I called the front desk and said hey I just want you to know that I got to cancel the reservation. And she went crazy on me I said to know who you are and you are rude to everyone checking in a night and you are always in the office if we need something at night. I hung up she called back and said hey I wasn't done talking to you and saying it's not my fault your company is stupid and hung up. And now I have to speak with the manager due to these issues. I hope the higher ups will get to see this issue.

Room was great—spacious, accessible, nice view of the airfield as well if watching planes is your thing. Was only here for a few nights but the staff was great and I was excited for breakfast every morning! Very safe area as well—security makes frequent rounds of the building, and you are quick walking/driving distance from some nice restaurants.

Perfect location for our needs. Too many people during breakfast and limited fare. But overall great value for your money even during the holidays.
