Big Lake Vacation - Bayfield, Wisconsin

The condo was beautifully decorated and had so many of the amenities that we appreciate for a comfortable stay. The location was perhaps the best of all, just steps to a great nature trail, restaurants and of course the big lake! We stayed in the South Shore Condo and one of the bedrooms faced a relatively busy street, but Kelsey was thoughtful to provide earplugs for light sleepers. The other bedroom with two twins was very dark and quiet - perfect for our little one. We would definitely stay here again.

I LOVED my quick stay in the South Shore condo. The unit was as nice as the photos depict and the rainfall shower was heavenly. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the unit was very clean.

The unit had everything I needed (including a bottle opener and wine glasses) and I appreciated the Keurig coffee selection. Accessing the unit went smoothly and Kelsey was great to work with and very responsive.

As for the neighborhood, it was an easy walk down to the shops and the lake. If you like coffee, stop a few blocks away at, Wonderstone Coffee--I enjoyed an excellent cortado and grabbed a bag of locally roasted beans.

South Shore Condo
Our home away from home while visiting Bayfield, WI and the Apostle Islands!

While traveling on a road trip to tour the Great Lakes region, my family and I spent 4 nights in the South Shore Condo on Rittenhouse Avenue.

Booking was easy and Kelsey was responsive anytime we had a question. Price was fair for upscale accommodations. Check in was easy, especially since we were arriving late.

The space is thoughtfully decorated and well appointed. Spending time here has me dreaming of redecorating my own home! It is SPOTLESSLY CLEAN!

The condo is on Rittenhouse Avenue, which is the main road through Bayfield so we really appreciated that it was local to everything like hiking trails, the Madeline Island Ferry, shopping, a grocery store, restaurants, and kayak/sailing excursions, and just a 5 minute drive to local vineyards and farms. It was all at our fingertips, yet the town is still quiet at night so we could sleep well.

When we were ready to unwind after a day of exploring, the condo had everything we needed and was roomy enough for our family of 4 to spread out and have our own space. The beds were very comfortable and there were plentiful plush towels. Seating is perfect with enough for everyone to sit while eating at a dining table or to sit in cushy chairs for relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare our own meals and snacks. The building itself must have very thick walls to block sound. We could not hear any other guests in the building, even though all rooms were booked. Every detail is thought of like a modern TV with access to streaming apps, ear plugs, dispensers in the shower for shampoo, conditioner and body wash, alarm clocks with charging ports, flyers and books with local information, magazines for reading, etc.

This is a great location for exploring the Apostle Islands and Bayfield, is thoughtfully and charmingly appointed, and extremely clean. We are so glad we choose to stay here! Thank you, Kelsey, staying in your South Shore Condo made our visit to Bayfield very enjoyable!

Rented the Huron Suite from Kelsey, and the room was just amazing! Kelsey was easy to talk to, with quick responses, and just overall great to work with. The room was even better than the pictures, super soft bed, AND an amazing view of Lake Superior. 10/10 recommend for a stay in Bayfield & will be back!

The Willowbrook Cottage was a cozy, clean, and comfortable place to stay, and it made me feel like I was home away from home. The location was absolutely perfect--we could access downtown Bayfield and the lake just by walking down the hill. Kelsey was so welcoming and responsive; she seemed to really care about wanting us to have a good vacation. For the space and location, the price was great. Highly recommend.
