It was a decent stay. Beachfront. Great view from balcony.
There is NO ELEVATOR here. 2 flights of stairs to rooms on 2nd and 3rd floor. So it is a trip up and down if you are on the 3rd floor. I didn't mind it but for those that are elderly/disabled this will not work for you. It was very quiet. Check-in was a breeze. Friendly staff. Coffee provided near check in desk along with the microwave. These are not in room unfortunately. I had a great time nonetheless! Would stay again!

This place was a big disappointment. Paid 215 for one night for a room with one queen bed and no view. Upon entering we see a sign that states no ice machine! Place is old and doesn't smell good.
Our room was small. Little fridge freezer was totally iced in. Apparently never defrosted. Bathroom smelled like mold and urine.
The worse part was finding a used sanitary napkin in the top drawer of the bureau!! We were so disgusted by the whole situation. Where the hell was house keeping when the last people checked out!!
No one at desk when we checked out either so we couldn't even talk to someone....never again. Ruined my time at beach.

Will never stay here again. No ice machine in bldg. Fridge in room was ice jammed freezer that we couldn't use. Found a used sanitary napkin top drawer of bureau. . Bathroom smelled of urine and musty. Was not a nice feeling at all. No view of ocean and room cost was 215 for one night. At least the air conditioner worked. Terrible

I thought I booked a balcony room but didn’t. The owner was so accommodating. He felt bad that we came to visit and couldn’t get a balcony room (my own fault for using a third party lol) and he offered for us to be able to sit at the Hillcrest and admire the ocean. He even said we could use their pool.
This man didn’t need to do that for us. He could have easily just said “too bad” and that was that…he didn’t.
The room is so cute. The AC is ICE cold. The shower is nice and hot. The bed is very comfortable. Even though we are right in the middle of the action, the room is amazingly very quiet. We are here during a hurricane and we couldn’t be more happy and appreciative. To the owner or whomever the man was, working the front desk: Thank you for being so wonderful. We will never forget your kindness.

This place was not cheap. The room felt like an old closet that was converted into a room where I should be doing a ton of drugs. When I say this room was dirty, that's an understatement. There is no service associated with this room, not even a do not disturb sign though other rooms had that luxury. Don't do it, go anywhere else. The staff was very nice but it doesn't make up for the horrible conditions.

5 stars for the location. Hotel was right across from the beach. 1 star for all others. Dirty room, stained towels, hole in the wall, paint peeling on wall. Flat, firm cushionless pillows. Uncomfortable firm bed. Bugs flying in our room. Was gross. But we managed to overcome it by spending more time outside of the hotel than inside. We paid top dollar for the most expensive room there with balcony. They need to update, remodel the rooms. Will not return.

Stayed 3 nights in mid-July 2024, and had a wonderful time with my partner enjoying Hampton Beach. If the Atlantic Sands location wasn't central, this review would be a 1, at best. Administrative staff was friendly. Maintenance and cleaning crews doing just the bare hygienic minimum would greatly improve the property and make the price almost worth it. Broken door handle to only building entry, dirty bed sheets upon arrival and empty can laying visible on floor, paintings not put back up on hooks, air conditioner filter clearly full and the associated smell. Not even complimentary drip coffee in building lobby - but you do get to pay a few dollars to shop next door, apparently owned by the same company. When visiting Hampton Beach in the future, would only consider booking here again after inspecting the property condition first.

We have stayed there in the past and it not a 5 start hotel and we understand this. However the quality has gone further down hill. The ac unit was moldy and room smelled like mold/mildew. I hesitate to return there. The balcony is very dirty it needs a good power washing. They allow smoking on the balcony which if you are a non smoker is a problem. We had several people stay next to us that were heavy smokers, so we could not sit out side and enjoy the view.
