I hesitate to put in this review because the woman running the place was so nice but so clearly overwhelmed. She has no staff at the moment. This place also rents by the week and month and have 2 teenage children with me, I almost kept driving seeing the rough crowd that they appeared to be. But checking in this woman was so nice and we were given a choice of two rooms on the other side of the building. Plus the full amount had already been in paid at the time the reservation was made. We took the room on the end as the other seemed to already have an occupant tho they weren't there at the time. The room was dirty, squashed bugs on almost every wall. We did not use the shower. Whether or not we wanted a fire alarm was left up to us as the cover and batteries were on a shelf! Pool was very murky. Towels and bedding had stains. Very noisy people at night.

So after reading these reviews, I was pretty nervous about my upcoming stay.....

I was amazed from the beginning.... The staff (especially the owner, I believe) were all so nice. The bed was so comfortable, I love the setting, and the kids had a blast in the pool. I found my new place to stay in Hampton! Can't wait to go back

UPDATE!

Just had another AMAZING stay here. The whole crew and I. We booked a total of 5 rooms and we couldn't complain about a thing! Rooms are all renovated, clean, amazing fire pit, grills, and wicked friendly.

I won't ever stay anywhere else when I'm up here.

Already planning another girls getaways during the winter! ♡

I wrote to the motel when I booked 2 days in advance to make sure my friend and I had 2 separate beds and a kitchenette to make some food. No answer. On the way there, we finally got many emails from them because they wanted to know when we were checking in, but we had no network. Without anyone to welcome us, we had to check ourselves in and get the key behind the counter. The room is a good size and could be very comfortable if well-equipped. The kitchenette is there, but there is no cups, cutlery so you need to bring your own stuff if you want to make something good. Next to the Patriots mug, there was an hash pipe, that's original! The smell in the room is bad and it's not clean at all. Painting is cracked, the beds... have seen a lot of movement and they are not comfortable at all. No one greeted us at any point during our 2-night stay and discovered we were charged and extra 3% for credit card payment. Who charges 3% extra (from $250, it's a lot) for a credit card payment in 2019 in the US Even the garbage deposit area is falling apart. The cleanest part is the parking lot. Only the wifi works and it works well, fortunately. This place was the lowest value for money in all my past bookings, not recommended at all

This place was so much fun and perfect for our family. Rooms were beautiful and spacious. The people here and th owners were very friendly and accommodating. Room was right by the pool which was perfect for us and we even had a picnic table saw our family but our dinner is together.we had two rooms which were beautiful for a large family and the rooms had a conjoining door so we were never apart from each other which was perfect. Another thing that was really great about this place was that the beach was close to The hotel and we were also close to main retail outlets and grocery stores in case we needed to pick up other items. The rooms were beautifully equipped with coffee pot fridge and microwave which accommodated us perfectly.

Best stay experience EVER! The lovely lady at the front desk was GREAT! Maintenance staff was fantastic and was available when needed! Rooms were fairly sized and very comfortable beds! We will definitely return next year! You guys were awesome!!!

I had a nice stay here. The woman at check in was very pleasant. Room was clean, no bed bugs (I checked because I'm super paranoid about that sort of thing in ANY hotel). Would've been nice if there was a coffee maker but there's a dunks a couple miles up the road so not a huge problem and the heat doesn't work super well but kept me warm enough. Beds are very soft, they do sag but I was able to get a good night's sleep without any back pain the next day. I would stay here again.

The Staff were very friendly and check-in was quick and easy. The Room was basic. Kitchenette had 1 spoon, 1 fork, bottle opener, 2 pans, 1 coffee cup{no coffee maker}, 2 plates and paper bowls. Fridge was a half size with great freezer. The Bathroom was TINY with no room to put anything or even turn around with out knocking things over. We were left 2 sets of towels for 4 people. The beds had clean white sheets on them and fairly new comforters but he beds sagged into the middle leaving me clinging to the edge. We left the AC on full all the time because it barely worked and it was a replacement thrown in the window. The Room was not clean! Shower had black stuff in the corners, the doors had stuff all over them and the hardwood floor left our feet black in 5 minutes! WiFi was week at best and not really available in the room. Unless you are going to party I wouldn't recommend this place. I had read the reviews and went with an open mind. I can see where they have made upgrades but it didn't meet our basic expectations.

I was nervous, but shouldn't have been. It is a motel, so as expected the rooms were small, and the decor sparse. Clearly this motel is being upgraded, one item at a time.||Room was meticulously clean, The beds were the most incredibly mattress i have ever slept on. The A/C was older, but worked...||The owner was quite possibly the nicest man I have ever met. I was up early and sitting outside and he offered to bring me over a cup of coffee. Incredibly nice.||Pool was great, many families, off the strip but very quiet. I would stay here again without hesitation.
