This hotel was really nice. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast staff was amazing. They were very helpful and super nice, the gentleman remembered what we had the day before and asked us if we would like it the second day. Rooms were clean. Only problem we had was most of the exterior doors were broken. They could not be opened with the guest key. And it was a good distance around to the operating doors.

First room we were given had a shelf that had fallen off the wall ly ing on the floor and had some exposed wires.

Second room we were moved to ended up having ants all over the bathroom.

The only operable remote entrance near our room that was functioning, went out during rainfall. Had to run around to front lobby to get in.

Left a couple messages for the hotel manager but never received a call back.

This is a Bonvoy property - not a good look for Bonvoy.

Have stayed here multiples times, a 30 min. drive to Chicago O'hare airport and walking distance to golf cource and a very nice Italian Dining place. Staff is friendly and helpful. Clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds.||Everything went OK until I had housekeeping trying to abruptly enter the room when I was half asleep and didn't answer.

I stayed here many years ago when it was a much newer hotel.
The rooms are spacious but they definitely needs more light. Especially for women who put makeup on.
The bathrooms are old. I Had to change my room on the second night because I had no hot water. No one offered to help me move my stuff. They just gave me a new room.
In the new room, my faucet to the sink was very loose so obviously nothing is being kept up. All the carpeting throughout the building is extremely stained and hasn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The service at the front desk was great. They were as helpful as they could be.
Unless this place gets an update, I don’t think I would stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! Mary Jo (night receptionist) was super friendly and helpful. She really made me feel at home. Nancy (daytime receptionist) was an absolute joy!

This hotel does not meet Marriott/Sheraton standards in terms of upkeep. The rooms themselves are okay, however the rest of the hotel is badly in need of major renovation. The grounds were overgrown with weeds growing up in cracks in the concrete. Many of the sidewalks were broken and littered with tripping hazards. There was plastic sheeting tapped to the ceiling in the hallway. Some of the exterior doors had clearly rotted out but were painted over to try to disguise it. There is an abandoned tennis court on the back of the property that lends itself to a general sense of decay. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night but there was no indication of an actual emergency. It makes you wonder if this hotel is truly safe to sleep in at night.

This hotel needs some maintenance--(windows open- but latches were broken, doors need work--kind of a security issue), we had to keep finagling the t.v. as it was set in OSD off mode. However, staff was super and pool exceptionally clean and large (for a hotel).
