This hotel has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the breakfast included in the reservation is a great bonus. It’s also ideally located, with easy access to everything Kosher—grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, and more. Perfect for a stress-free getaway!

The food was very good and plentiful. The breakfast was extremely fresh and delicious. The rooms were clean and updated. The staff was incredibly attentive, kind, helpful and patient. All they wanted to do was ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. We hope to go back soon!

We had such a great time! Location is amazing right near all the kosher restaurants and shopping. A shuttle takes you to a quiet beach with chairs and umbrellas and water bottles. Breakfast was huge and delicious!!! For our stay, weather was also perfect. Highly recommend!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful, modern hotel by the bay with stunning waterfront views. The accommodations were top-notch, thoughtfully including everything a Jew needs for Shabbos, making it a truly pleasant experience. The Altair Hotel was everything that I expected. Clean, friendly staff, wonderful rooftop pool, terrific buffet breakfast and so much more. The front desk, Maria Rosario and David Hualpa, went out of their way to see that our stay would be |extra special especially knowing that I am due for some major surgery in the next month. I rented a bicycle and went kayaking right from the property. Such outstanding service and hospitality. I look forward to returning when I recover.

This is an incredible hotel, which includes everything from the comfort to the cleanliness and the most amazing staff. The food at the Ovo restaurant was incredible. To stand outs were there breakfast buffet which had anything you could imagine for breakfast. And their Shabbos Friday night dinner. Wiman I was there had short ribs, falling off the bone as well as chicken and mini steaks and prime rib you name it. The restaurant staff is also one of the most hard-working staff I’ve ever seen. Harry the Bellman was also extremely helpful with anything we needed. It’s expensive but worth it will not disappoint.

It was an overall pleasant experience. The staff tries to accommodate every request. The common areas are clean and spacious. So are the rooms and the beds are extremely comfortable. The included breakfast is very nice. To be able to purchase hot and cold beverages would be a good idea.

I recently booked a stay at the Altair, expecting a luxurious resort experience based on its advertised 'newly renovated' status. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short. Our room was cramped, with peeling wallpaper and mold on the bathroom ceiling. The closet emitted a potent, unpleasant odor reminiscent of a yeshiva dormitory.

When I requested a simple bucket of ice via room service, I was shocked by the response: 'Go get it yourself.' This lack of basic hospitality set the tone for our stay. The rooftop pool was a highlight, but its potential was undermined by inadequate staffing - only one attendant managed the chairs, towels, and bar, which was woefully understocked with just a single bottle of vodka and a single bottle of tequila.

Given the $500+ nightly rate and the resort's advertised promise of luxury and relaxation, I was shocked by the lack of attention to detail and subpar service. The breakfast was the sole redeeming amenity. Overall, the Altair's advertised luxury resort experience seems misleading, and I would caution others against expecting a high-end getaway.
