- ROOMS: Clean, clean, clean….with one word apartment is super clean. You have all appliances available here that you may need during your stay. Also very silent place which is really something important for those looking for a good sleep and no disturbances all over.

- SERVICE: They provide all information in advance, how to access, parking and other information you may need. I felt like they are really attentive for their guests while we stayed.

- LOCATION: Great location, walking distance to many restaurants, cafes and Bal Harbor Shops. You may want to drive for a beach but it wont take very long.

- PARKING: Own parking garage available for $20/night and we could find everyday a spot to park even we arrived some nights too late.

Overall, if their prices are within your travel budget, just don’t look for any other place and book it.

Filthy, mouldy and literally not well maintained facilities. 95% of the stuff advertised as included and available were not functional leaving quite a few guests we met in the lift./elevator frustrated. If you dare complain to the manager or property care taker he will cancel your booking leaving you to find something on the day of your arrival. It’s not that we paid cheap cost for the apartment yet left disappointed with a sick child from very dusty, dirty rooms. None of the blankets have been washed for months (dusty, dirty and smelly)

I stayed at Moderno Residence with my family, including my 8-month-old child, wife, mother, and sister. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. Here are the key issues we faced:||Cleanliness Concerns: Upon arrival, we were greeted by an unclean environment. The bed sheets and sofa were covered in stains and hair, which was unsettling and raised concerns about the overall hygiene of the apartment.||Uncomfortable Sleeping Arrangements: The quality of sleep is crucial, especially when traveling with a family. Sadly, the beds and pillows provided were extremely uncomfortable, contributing to restless nights and tired days.||Inadequate Kitchen Supplies: The kitchen, a central part of family living, was lacking basic necessities. There were no sponges for washing dishes, no dish towels, and the silverware was not only dated but also insufficient - imagine having only two forks for a family meal!||Broken Appliances: To add to our inconvenience, the dryer was broken. This was a significant issue as traveling with a young child means more laundry, and not having a working dryer was a major setback.||Outdated Bathrooms: The bathrooms, much like other parts of the apartment, were dated. This might not be a deal-breaker for some, but it certainly didn't help in making our stay comfortable or enjoyable.||In summary, the apartment in Miami fell short of our expectations, particularly in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and basic amenities. It's disheartening to encounter such issues, especially when traveling with family and a young child. We stayed 1 night, and asked for a refund (via booking.com)

The only thing positive was the gentleman that checked us in. Horrible staff, not even a good morning or good afternoon, they just passed by us. |The apartment was dirty and had a bunch of things broken such as coffee machine water boiler, and worst of all the sofa bed, that just fall in the middle of the night. We had black mold in our room, what made my kid asthma got worse. The sofa besides being broken it’s teared and looked old. We payed $20/night for parking (it’s not expensive for Miami Beach!) but we had to park in really small spots, really challenging!

The apartments are “used” and not maintained at all. Kitchen equipment not sufficient to even have breakfast. Not ironed bed linen looked like used before, dirty walls, water not coming out the tap in one bathroom, broken lamp in living room; curtains only partially on the rod… and dirty swimming pool!!! This is not 4 star experience you are after and for what you are charged! On the departure day, Maria the Manager offered us a compensation for discomfort but that has never been processed. Also
Maria never replied to our message. Highly do not recommend and hope the owner of the property will take some lesson.

I will never recommend this place to anyone simply because Maria NEVER fixed problem that occurred.
The day I arrived I noticed ants in the kitchen. Reported to the property manager the next day (Maria) not only did she accused us of bring the ants in; she sent someone to spray for them but with garden ant spray you would use OUTSIDE. The following day ants were still present in the apartment, Maria came and physical saw the ants with her two eyes and never came back to fix the problem. I at least expected a refund for one day but she stated if I left a bad review, I would not get a refund back. Again I will never recommend this place because Maria doesn't know how to provide customer satisfaction and literally threaten me that I will not receive any refund for a bad review. I would really appreciate if someone can reach out to me personal about this because it is UNACCEPECTABLE how we were treated staying here.
AND YOUR PICTURES NEED TO BE UPDATED! Rusted on the outside of the building, scuff marks all over the walls, mold in the bathroom/shower that has been covered with silicon and never cleaned. Overall this place is not what it looks like in the pictures.

Beautiful and quiet place. My toddler really enjoyed the playground across the street. Also short walk to synagogue and kosher food. The apartment itself was very comfortable and clean, with nice balconies. The only downsides were that the pool was unheated and some tiny bugs I found crawling on the counter. Otherwise, I would really recommend this place over a hotel.

Great experience at Moderno Residence. We staid here for almost 6 weeks with a family of 6 (spread across 2 apartments). The apartments are modern and well equipped, the management is very responsive, the cleaning staff is very thorough (note: only one cleaning is included for your stay, additional cleanings are extra). Parking is on the ground floor of the building and charged extra ($10-$20 per day). The location is excellent especially if you want somewhere quite, family friendly to stay in Miami away from the crowds. If you have kids, the children's play ground across the street is a real plus. The walk to the beach is around 10-15min, an excellent local restaurant (Pura Vida) is less than 5 min away and the Shops and Restaurants of Surfside are 5-10min away. The only thing that didn't quite meet my expectations was the roof top pool which is more like a big bathtub (the pictures make it look much bigger). Thank you.
