"This place was packed for a reason! 🍽️ The moment we walked in, I knew the food was going to be great. Despite the crowd, we didn't have to wait long for a table. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Definitely a must-try!

Awesome menu, lots of choices for breakfast and lunch items. I had the Zamboni crepe which was fabulous and a side of sausage which I didn’t need because portions were plenty. Prices were awesome and staff was awesome. Super busy at 10:30 on a Saturday but was seated in 5 minutes. Love it!

Came back and had another wonderful experience. Had the California omelet. One of the best omelets I’ve had. I also wanted to add that service is amazing. I don’t think we waited more than five minutes and our food arrived. I recommend this restaurant highly!

The breakfast food tastes as expected. Except for the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes which though on the menu, did not exist. I had them a few years ago, they were delicious. Ordered them again over the winter and I got Carmel pancakes instead. I told the waitress who corrected me that "the cinnamon is in the sauce". I know what cinnamon tastes like. It wasn't in the sauce. There was a special that day of some sort of caramelized fruit pancakes. I chalked it up as being a fluke. I love cinnamon so I ordered it again 2 weeks ago. I received Carmel pancakes again. I wasn't starving that day so after two bites to confirm, sent them back. Waitress refunded the cost for my breakfast. My friend enjoyed his food.
I spotted the manager and discussed it with him letting him know that I dine there monthly. At first he argued it was in the sauce. I told him I know food and it is not- it was just caramel. He promised to check. When paying our bill, he confirmed that there was no cinnamon in the sauce and that he fixed the issue. I asked him, "So if I order Cinnamon Roll Pancakes the next time I come, there will be cinnamon in them?" He simply shrugged to display that he doesn't know.

So he knew I got the wrong order twice. And that I was never correctly compensated for their mistake. He knew that customers who order cinnamon pancakes are getting bait and switched. He said he fixed it for the day but displayed he doesn't care it happened to me twice or that it will happen to customers in the future. Just wow. Other than that- I had no complaints which is the reason for 3 instead of 1 star. Too bad manager simply does not care.

It's a hit or miss with the waitresses there's a real cool one that works there and she doesn't even write your order down she just memorizes it that's some special stuff! however the food is always fresh and their turkey bacon is even good... I ordered the Greek omelette special, they don't skimp on the ingredients... pancakes were a little overcooked this time but I know they're capabilities it's always crowded and I gave the atmosphere a four because there's so much traffic and sometimes your chair gets bumped when people are getting seated overall the best breakfast and Kankakee county! I do, will, and always return....

The MOST important meal of the DAY! And my favorite meal of the day is and will always be breakfast. Yolks & Berries is a decent breakfast/lunch spot. Rather it’s for a family outing, solo or a quick in and out meal. It’s REALLY GOODT! Nice setting and casual atmosphere. I’ve dined in a few times but this specific time I ordered take out. I ordered the Down South omelette with sour dough buttered toast. Always my go to and not to mention pretty decent size omelette. 10/10 for the Chef! A young lady named Lambros (Stated on receipt) took my order and checked me out. She was kind and friendly. This is usually my go to spot for breakfast considering it’s down the street. Check em out!

American comfort food type restaurant. Had the works omelette and it was good enough, very filling for sure. My daughter had a wrap and said it was amazing!

The place was lovely. When I first walked in I was sure I’d love it. The server was friendly. Took our order and served our drinks promptly. I ordered the banana fosters waffle. I asked if I could get it without pecans. I do not care for them. She said, “Absolutely, you get things exactly how you want here!” They were quite busy so it took a bit of time to get the food. When it arrived there were a LOT of pecans on it. I began picking them off (I was hungry and on a time crunch) so I could eat it. The bananas were also super mushy. I expected them to be softer than a fresh banana (I’ve had bananas foster other places) but these were extreme to me. I ended up scraping everything off the waffle and eating it as is. The waffle by itself was delicious! The next time I saw the server was when she walked by and slapped the bill on the table. She glanced at my plate, I thought she was going to say something about the pecans being in a huge pile but she walked on. I laid my card on the bill and when she noticed that she told me I could pay up front. My daughter asked for a box for her leftovers. She said, “absolutely!” We waited almost 10 minutes. I went up to pay and use the restroom. The gal at the register asked me how everything was. I told her my experience in a kind way. She apologized and said next time to ask to have it remade. I would have if I had seen the server again in a reasonable amount of time. Our drinks were never even refilled. I was bummed because I had high hopes for this place. There won’t be a next time. I don’t live there, my daughter does. She hadn’t tried that place before either. There are way too many options in the town for me to go back there when I visit again. I should have gone where she suggested in the first place. My daughter said her food was good so I’m pleased about that!

We've eaten here several times (it's one of our breakfast spots) and it never disappoints. Very creative menu and the food is always good. With the exception of our last time there on 12/27 (our server was nice, just not very good) our service has always been great as well.
