Today we stopped in. Never been here before. Looked at the Google reviews and thought this is promising. Before entering the building, a woman was outside. Said the place is great so I thought we'll give this a try. We ordered two meals, one garlic parmesan and one lemon pepper. Barbecue came with fries and a little side of your dipping sauce. The wings were crisp fried and then tossed in the sauce. Came out very hot, warm, ready to eat. Really good quality food. A crispy twist on a wing which I enjoyed. 5 Star wings were pretty decent. We ordered the ribs tips, polish, wings and my favorite pound cake. Everything was decent. Ribs a little over cooked but other than that it was good. Jordan room pie order. He was friendly and very informative when it came to the menu and offer other ideas. We also meant the owner on our way out. He was genuinely happy for our service. Seating area was plentiful from top to bottom. Decent food check em out!

Update 2025: New local owner really enjoyed the wings! Looks like a fantastic menu. Definitely need to get back to try more.

We got 5 Star Wings for Super Bowl Sunday and they were delicious! My husband called to place the order and said the person he spoke with was kind and accommodating. He said the same was true when he went in to pick up the wings. We got mild and honey barbecue and both were absolutely delicious. The perfect amount of sauce and the chicken was very tender. Will absolutely be eating here again!!

I haven’t had rib tips in YEARS. I was used to Exsenators BBQ in Markham and I57 Rib House right off 115th by I-57. This is the best BBQ I’ve had in a very long time and it takes me back to my childhood when my pops would throw down on the grill. Ribs, chicken, burgers, hot links, hot dogs, you name it. 5 Star Wings got themselves another customer!!

First time here. Ordered whole fried chicken wings and rib tips. The chicken wings were the worst I have had in a long time. Fried too hard and bland, no seasoning at all. But the rib tips were ok probably the best you can get around here. Customer service is top notch. I will definitely go back for the rib tips when I don't feel like driving to Chicago for the best rib tips.

So I gave them another chance and I regret it. Once again the rib tips are burnt, old, salty, dry and like chewing leather! Even the fries were nasty and greasy. The little I did manage to get down has my stomach hurting. I think I'm going to report this to public health. The lone man working in there had gloves on but touching everything, taking orders touching the phone, credit card reader and then preparing food with the same gloves! Totally a waste of money! No wonder it doesn't matter what time you go that place is empty! And I see the owner has stop responding to reviews. Please don't waste your money eating here!

After spending $20 on a Rib Tip & Link combo, I almost went back to spend $20 more, the same day..! Although, I wasn't a fan of the cut up Hot Link. I like eating it with my bread & fries lol (next time I'll give specific instructions).... FOOD TASTED SOOO GOOD I COULDN'T COMPLAIN, of course I got EXTRA SAUCE 🔥.... HIGHLY recommended..!!
