Very dirty. The only clean things were bed linens and towels. There were even dirty handprints on the ceiling! Carpets were stained and dirty. Our socks were black walking on the carpet. Walls are thin. Elevator was wonky, taking the attempts to close. Breakfast was minimal. Not a good selection. Needs were very uncomfortable. Woke up hurting in my back during the night.

Sure can't beat the value! We had our dog and that worked out real nice, our room had vinyl floors especially for pets. We were shown to our room by the proprietor, which was rather quaint. We were treated respectfully. Sure the place has seen better days and the hallways could have used a good vacuum, but the room was clean quiet and comfortable

I’ve stayed at the West Star Hotel many, many times and loved it. |This last stay was horrible. It was clean enough, but the service was not good. One hand towel, two bath towels, no wash clothes. Good thing it wasn’t cold because the bedding was sparse. The breakfast was hardly anything. |The casino is still closed even though I read where it said it was open. |Makes me very sad that it went down hill so bad. I stayed there because I travel alone with my dogs and I felt safe staying there. I hope the new management will make it nice again.

This area is the half way mark between the two locations I most travel to/from. I have stayed here a handful of times and it’s always an easy/affordable experience. One time I stayed I stayed with my cat so I was given a “pet room”. That room was a little gross, but not the hotels fault. They can’t come in an redo it every time an animal stays and acts a fool. The bar area actually has some really good pizza. I want to say, when I stayed, it was a huge pizza and 6 beers for about $30. After a long day of driving it was easy and nice to just grab a pizza and beers and head to the room. I do recommend bringing in a plastic bag for your clothes once you are done for the evening and placing them inside to contain the cigarette smell. The rooms themselves have a slight tinge of smell, but I don’t blame the hotel. We have stayed here many times with trailers and things in the back of the truck and nothing has ever been messed with. There seems to be a strong police presence that drives the strip there regularly so it definitely feels safe to leave your trailer and not have it messed with. It is nothing fancy but the check in gal is friendly and quick.

I was pleasantly surprised how clean the room was compared from older reviews. We arrived very late with a reservation and was checked in quickly. We were on a road trip and stayed just for a few hours before moving on, so we missed the continental breakfast. The room price was a bargain. We will return.

Not much on the outside - but once you enter you are greeted with the BIGGEST smile ever. Super friendly. Very clean and has what you need for a good nights sleep. Other casino's are a hop right across the road - so having no casino or bar in the West Star is just fine. Just means you will get some good sleep. Nice little breakfast to enjoy before you hit the road too. We road a motorcycle and they were kind enough to give us a wash cloth to dry off the morning dew that was on the seat. We even stayed there on our way back home. So both visits were super great. And that smile is just awesome. Thank you West Star for a good stay.

Outstanding before I got there. I was running late so communicated via the app and the reply was always positive. Was welcomed, felt comfortable and my room was relaxing. The walk in shower was fabulous, best experience I had during my whole trip. The breakfast bar in the morning had fresh coffee, fruits and a variety of various dishes. It was an easy checkout and if I'm that way again I'm choosing this company first.

Can't beat the price or location now for the stars I would have gave it negative Stars but that isn't an option. First off the air conditioner in the room was full of nastiness along with the fan in the bathroom. The toilet where the tank and seat connect to the bowel was full of old urine. The beds do not have mattresses instead the have the spring mattresses similar to an actual boxspring. No padding just hard springs.The free breakfast was a plus until I filled my cup with chunks of mold, thinking I was getting apple juice. The orange juice was not orange juice either, cloudy with white floaties s/p? The juice was in a table top 4 item single dispenser. Honestly I don't think it's ever been taken apart and cleaned! 😝 The milk pitcher had crusty old milk around where the lid screws on and where the milk pours from. The milk was warm and smelled sour. The laundry room was a mess and the washer was nasty. Whole place needs to be throughly inspected, cleaned, and sanitized. See all attached pictures. No one at front desk. I called the front desk 2 times and ran the bell 3 times from inside standing at the front desk, the lady took over 20 mins to get to the front desk and was very rude!
Casino and bar are closed down.
