As the saying goes, I’d leave zero stars if I could. Upon check-in, the room was dirty (see photos). Chunks of hair on the walls and towels, food still left in the fridge, etc. This was our fourth time staying at this hotel, so we expected better. The front desk staff offered us another room, which was provided to us 1.5 hours later. This room was fine cleanliness wise, but it’s incredibly inconvenient that we were delayed 1.5 hours during our vacation. The elevators themselves are slow and a bit scary. The only good part of this hotel is their breakfast, which is surprisingly nice for a hotel. Besides this, the room cleaners/maids never once changed our trash cans. They were overflowing by the end of our stay. One day, room cleaning didn’t come, even though the do not disturb sign was on the door for way less than the cleaning hours. The light in the bathroom burnt out on the third night, which I understand isn’t their fault, but it took a bit of time to get changed. The front desk staff was overall quite rude, and they never once apologized for the uncleaned first hotel room, or the other issues we encountered during our stay. Needless to stay, we will never be staying here again. I don’t recommend you do, either. There are plenty of better hotels in the same area for cheaper rates.

The hotel staff, and facilities are very good. My issue is hotel industry wide - housekeeping. I’m okay with no daily housekeeping service, but when I need things to keep my room and person in order; those item should be available. I would reuse my towel but no where to hang it to dry. Then I need to track down towels or wait for someone to bring them. I’ll empty my trash but I need garbage bags. Toilet paper is a must truly plan ahead item. Finally, if housekeeping is requested please show up.

Breakfast during week starts early, which is key for me. Very reasonable room rates. Gym needs update/expansion. Missing dumbbells and vet tight.

Staff were very friendly, and everything in the room functioned as expected. The room itself was comfortable, spacious, nice and dark at night, with light blocking curtains and a little interior light pollution from electronic devices. The bathroom was small, so it seemed crowded trying to get in/out around the fairly massive door.
The room decor and lighting were pretty dated, and the light level was pretty dim, even at the sink/vanity, making it hard to read anywhere but the couch, which was next to a decently bright floor lamp.
The A/C was pretty loud, and it looks like salt/condensation encrusted and stained the window above the unit. Also, I was right next to the ice machine, so while there was some noise when people were getting ice, it wasn't too noticable otherwise.
Nice looking pool and deck area, but the fitness room was pretty limited, and had no airflow so was at 80F.

Not a great place to stay, but not terrible either. I’ve stayed here a couple times due to proximity to work when I am in town.||Rooms sometime smell funny, like they’re trying to cover up something. Front desk is very friendly, though a few times I’ve had to wait for someone to come out of the back office to ring me up for drinks and snacks (like nearly 5 minutes).

MY stay was for 2days 2 nights. The first night went without incident and I has a great day exploring Chicagoland. The last night I'm there the hotel experienced 2 false fire alarms and we had to evacuate our room twice. The fire department showed up and didn't find any fire issues but I chalked it up to someone illegally smoking in there room. After all that it was hard to sleep for the rest of that night luckily our check out time was in a couple hours to head back home.

Rooms are dirty, dusty, smells, and was not cleaned properly. The couch was stained and dirty as well. I sent a message to the manager and did not receive an email back. I cancelled my reservations for my 3 day stay and booked another hotel. NOT RECOMMENDED.

A little disappointed by this hotel. The rooms were clean and acceptable, but seemed worn down. The room window was exceptionally dirty from the ac unit to the point that you couldn't see through it. Location is not bad to area attractions and businesses.
