For the past few years I have had the pleasure of staying at The Crowne Plaza SW - Burr Ridge whenever I have been in the area. On every occasion my experience has been superb. The staff is outstanding on every level, my room always neat and clean when I first walk in, and consistently greeted with a warm smile from the front desk whether I am first checking in, or pass by on my way out to a meeting. Maintenance is quite impressive as they are constantly keeping the open areas and halls pristine. The food at the bar/restaurant is consistently fresh and delicious, and the breakfast buffet is a wonderful way to start my day. I would like to give a big shout-out to all the staff, but in particular Karla, Anabel, William, Mark, Jamie and Thomas for their never-ending smiles, welcoming personalities and top-notch professionalism. They are all the most genuine and sincere human beings on the planet!

Ah, young traveler, the Force is strong with this hotel. Arriving at the Crowne Plaza, I found check-in to be swift—no delays, no disturbances, as if guided by the wisdom of the ancients. A welcome relief it was that parking required no additional tribute, for a Jedi’s credits must be spent wisely.

As one who walks the path of the Diamond tier, I was granted two breakfast vouchers—an offering most generous. The sustenance of the on-site restaurant provided energy for the battles of the day ahead.

The path of the Greener Stay intrigued me. To forgo daily cleaning in exchange for additional rewards—500 points per night—this was a most balanced and thoughtful choice, aligning well with the harmony of the natural world.

My chamber, recently renovated, exuded cleanliness and order. The bed and pillows, like the soft embrace of the light side, offered unmatched comfort, ensuring deep rest before venturing forth once more.

A Jedi knows value when he sees it, and for just $113 per night, this dwelling was most impressive. Close enough to Midway Airport, it was—a mere 20-minute journey mid-morning, with traffic proving no formidable foe. Around the hotel, many food options lay in wait, offering sustenance to weary travelers.

In all aspects, this Crowne Plaza proved worthy of high regard. Should my travels bring me this way again, return I shall.

When I say Sandi and James did their thing!!! Jaime at the front desk was spectacular. They made our event amazing 👏🏾. I just didn't like the wet, mold smell. I'm allergic, and my allergies were kicking my butt. I know they had an issue, so we gave grace. I pray they can change out the carpets and get rid of the mildew in the bathroom area and behind the door. We are definitely coming back. Change takes time, and they are doing the best that they can while still providing extraordinary service.

The staff was extremely nice, the room was nice but for 2 nights I have not slept 1 hour. I booked this hotel by accident and prepaid. When I arrived in the day the volume of the traffic on the highway was deafening. My room faced the road. I wasn't overly concerned because I thought....it won't be this bad at night. Boy was I wrong. The huge amount of traffic all night long this close to the hotel was absolutely unreal. I am leaving in the morning exhausted from getting no sleep. It is a shame because the hotel is nice. I cannot even describe how truly awful the noise level is. No exaggeration at all. It is 1am and I am actually considering getting in my car to drive 4 hours home rather than waiting until the morning.

I don't want to sound negative. The staff was very diverse in personality, we shall start there. The rooms and overall hotel show signs of wear and are date. Comparatively, there are slightly better options just on the other side of the highway.

We have our Sales Team stay at this location whenever they are in Chicago and have been very pleased with the facility and accommodations. Last year we started using the conference rooms and banquet options for our Quarterly meetings. Sandi Schuda and the entire staff have made the entire experience seamless.

I held a training session at the Crowne Plaza for 25 people and the room worked out great. The staff worked with me to go over room options, food, etc. And my customer was very happy with the outcome. Great location and easy to get to from the highway. I will be using them again next year.
