What a fabulous experience all around! JJ and Natalie made the time together fun, informative and 100% worthwhile. Everyone in our party enjoyed and as parents we appreciated the extra care and patience they put into making it a great experience for our kids, too. Highly recommend!

Such a great day. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. From the front desk workers to guide and boat captain. We had Natalie as our guide and Emerson as our captain, they couldn't be any better!! So sweet and made sure we got to see 2 manatees even though it was the hotter months and they are only about 20 or so to be able to see. We came this month since it was our anniversary but the best months are Nov to April. The have a huge selection of souvenirs and some clothes you can buy too. They get you fitted in a wet suit after a short video and you take a bus less than 3mins from that spot and your there. 10/10 experience can't wait to go again!! Oh yeah they also take pictures during the experience and email you them, so excited to get them back!!

We had the best time today with Capt Bryan and guide James. We were able to swim with a manatee for about 45 minutes and James got over 100 photos for us to enjoy forever. We got to swim into Three Sisters Springs which was incredible. I would 100% recommend this tour and would book it again for myself if I travel back to Homosassa. Unforgettable experience.

Why Look Anywhere Else to Swim with Manatees?

- Looking for an incredible adventure and a chance to make new friends? River Adventures is the place to go! We got up close and personal with manatees—truly an unforgettable experience! I even had a baby manatee hold on to me, and my wife had her own special interaction. The sheer size of the mother manatee and the gentle nature of their interactions left us in awe.

- Our Captain, Chris, and water guide, James, were phenomenal. Their knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more memorable. They answered all our questions and pointed out other fascinating wildlife along the way. We were just 7 miles from the Gulf, fully immersed in the manatees' natural environment.

PROS:
- Amazing place to meet manatees
- Knowledgeable and friendly staff
- Quick and easy process—get suited up and start the adventure!

CONS:
- None!

Worth every penny, and we can’t wait to return, especially with clearer waters. Even though we visited less than a week after Hurricane Debbie, visibility was still good, and the entire experience was magical.

My family and I had a great time with Captain Chris and our guide, James. We chose the early morning tour to improve our chances of seeing manatees in the summer months and the guys worked very hard to provide a fun experience and found us manatees to swim with. They went above and beyond and we would hope to have them again when we return!

Captain Chris and our guide Sheila were absolutely amazing. Sheila was so informative and such a kind soul. Chris was very funny and had just as much information about the area. The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. They gave us free FWC stickers. Sheila and Chris were very respectful of the manatees and wildlife, we had seen a baby nursing his mother, we even saw a mom with two babies which they said was very rare, and out of respect they told us were not gonna go in the water for their safety since the manatee was so small. 10/10

We had a delightful time with Captain Troy and Guide Mike. They were personable and kind - telling us about the area and pointing out animals and points of interest. We found a group of 4 manatees including a mama and baby. Mike took great pictures so all I had to do was swim and take it all in! Such majestic creatures. After swimming with the manatees we were able to explore the three sisters springs (not always able due to tide) and this was fantastic. They clearly went out of the way to make sure we saw the beauty in a place they clearly love. I recommend this tour highly to anyone!
