Our experience was incredible! Captain Will and Amanda took great care to get us out first before anyone else and ensured there were tons of manatees before we all got in. We had a lot of time with mammas and babies! The coolest experience. Will and Amanda were hospitable by allowing us to change, offering hot coco and donuts and answering all kinds of questions. Most of all it was affordable and we checked one off our bucket list! Thanks so much! We will be back!

Ohhh this was worth the trip to go see. Took a boat out to see the manatees!!! If you've never done this you need to!! Captain Will was totally awesome and knowledgeable about the manatees. Took the time to make sure we could get some pictures, to see a restricted area where the manatees go, to see kyakers and divers in by the manatees. Also see other wild life along the shores.

My son did the Blue Grotto, Devils Den and the Rainbow River dives with Mike P. And he had a great time. Met at each dive stop and everything went great. He would love to come back and do them again. I would recommend Bird’s and Mike P. We live out of state and found the site online. Everything was easy to book over the phone. We stopped in the shop the day before to get him fitted for his gear.

Fantastic tour! Even though I was reluctant to book such an early tour, it worked out in our favor! Both Jo and Michelle made sure our tour was both fun and safe and along with seeing manatees we also got to go into the 3 sisters springs which was a lot of fun.
All the equipment was clean and well kept. They had wet suits of all sizes and made sure we had ones that fit.
I really appreciated their focus on care and safety of the manatees on the tour as well.

We had the absolute best time on our Manatee tour. The staff was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and took great care of us. We scored on our early morning trip with lots of manatees that wanted and initiated contact with us. One juvenile enjoyed exploring my mask by nibbling on it . The cutest thing ever. I highly recommend this tour. Fun fun fun. It was spectacular and we made forever memories

Bird’s Underwater is the top “swim with manatees” operation in Crystal River. The Captain Michelle and Guide Tori were outstanding. I thought I knew a lot about manatee but I learned so much more on our adventure. We saw so many manatees and I even got a few manatee kisses and a big manatee hug (what an experience!!). 100% recommend doing the early tour. It was the best time to see them!

I went on the 6am-9am tour and had a wonderful time getting into the water and seeing the manatees before the rest of the boats showed up! We were the first boat to Three Sisters Springs, and there were many boats arriving by the time we left, so it was nice to have more of an "exclusive" tour. I plan to go back and try a later tour just as a comparison. You won't be disappointed by booking with Bird's!

The best manatee tours! We joined the 11am with my wife and daughter. My daughter found the water a bit too cold. My wife and I could do a switch halfway so we could both swim with the manatees. Captain Michelle and Tori did a great job and you could see they really loved the animals.

I went out again the day after at the 6am tour with Michelle and Kay. This tour was even better then the day before. Being the first out on the water gave us a lot of time to watch the manatees without other people around us. The hot chocolate and donuts were a nice extra! We could purchase the picture files afterwards which was a nice souvenir.
