This is absolutely THE BEST tour company to go with. We booked with them last year, met Captain Ed and Captain Jessica. That started a tradition and we came back for my birthday this year. We met Megan and I will say, she's doing an amazing job and learning from the BEST. After experiencing these manatee tours I can say that I have found a friend in Jessica. She does the most amazing job from the education and knowledge to getting the most out of the experience for you. Everyone here goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, safe, and excited. We cannot wait to come back next year!!

An Unforgettable Manatee Experience!

I cannot recommend this manatee tour enough! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely magical. Captain Kim was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about protecting these gentle giants. She made sure we understood the proper way to interact with the manatees while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Seeing these beautiful creatures up close in their natural habitat was truly breathtaking. The water was crystal clear, and we had plenty of time to observe the manatees and surrounding fish and turtles! The staff provided excellent equipment, making the experience smooth and enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, this tour is a must! Whether you’re a nature lover or just looking for a unique adventure, swimming with manatees is something you’ll never forget. I can’t wait to do it again!

We just did a tour (Jan 25) and it was fabulous. The guides and captains are very friendly and knowledgeable and can answer all kinds of questions about manatees and the waters they call home. More importantly to me, the comfort and freedom of the manatees was central to the experience. We were able to get very close without interfering with them so we could see the manatees being their natural, curious selves. They worked with everyone on the tour to make sure everyone was safe and happy in and out of the water, even those that could barely swim. Would recommend Salty Siren to anyone!

Salty Siren Tours and Charters treated us SPECTACULARLY!!! Our tour guide Marissa & Captain Ed were absolutely amazing. We were there with only two other couples ( they don’t take any more than 6 people out on a tour) and treated us and our friends (also from “THE MITTEN”) with absolute kindness! This company is family owned and Captain Kim & Captain Ed are USCG veterans! They are very knowledgeable and informative about the manatees, and Marissa and Captain Ed took genuine care to ensure our experience was the best it could have possibly been. TOTALLY EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!!! They also take lots of pictures for you, before, during, and afterwards to beautifully capture the entire experience, and the price was VERY REASONABLE for a lifetime of memories. They also used a drone to help find the manatees and take aerial pictures too. ONLY COMPANY WE SAW DOING THAT! I have been on three different manatee tours over the years and this was by far the best experience. Loved the education about manatees in the shop before we got on our way.

Tyler our guide was fantastic and Captain Randy made our boat ride enjoyable. Loved the heated boat with manatee mochas on our ride home.

Capt Randy and Meghan were both amazing. Their knowledge and care for the manatees was outstanding.
They were helpful and caring and made aure we saw the manatees up close but still respected their space.
Nice warm cabin after the swim with "manatee mocha" hot chocolate and coffee half and half.
Will definitely do a tour with them again when in the area.

The team at Salty Siren was great. From answering questions via email before our trip to easy online booking, email reminders of what we needed to do to prepare, remember to bring and expect. I was happy to see how important following the procedures to protect wildlife was to them as well. We did a safety video before we ever got started from Fish and Wildlife, and a talk about Manatees, safety, and the Habitat. Jessica and Captain Eric did a great job explaining the area and answering questions, pointing out animals as we traveled to the areas where we got into the water.

I was glad they reminded us, and other people to follow the rules. They made sure we saw and experienced as much as we could. Taking photos and video for us along the way. Eric used drones to help find areas for us to view the animals in. And having coffee and hot cocoa on the boat for the ride back was amazing.

I was also impressed that beyond the guided tours Captain Kim is really involved with protecting the Manatees. When we arrived to check in, she was not on site because she was helping Fish and Wildlife crews rescue 2 animals that the team had seen struggling earlier in the day.

We had a blast on our guided snorkel tour with the team from Salty Siren! The whole crew - Captain Kim, Captain Ed, and our guide Tyler - made swimming with manatees such a memorable experience. They only run small tour groups, which is reason enough to pick them as your tour guide!

But, it’s the extra touches that they put into our experience that make them exceptional – from complimentary beverages on the boat to capturing both in-water and aerial photos and videos of our adventure. They even provided the photo package on the cutest manatee-shaped USB drive!

This passionate, professional team made our time in Crystal River so special. I’d highly recommend booking with Salty Siren, and I know we’ll be back for another tour next time we’re in Crystal River.
