My number 1 goal on my trip to FL was to conquer the 8.5 mile shuttle run along with Emerald Cut. I was extremely impressed with Kings Landing from the booking, prices and excellent customer service from awesome staff. I overcame my fear of gators ? really fast and grew to like the 1-2ft ones. The runs were easy to navigate and so beautiful. I am planning my vacation next year around the Haunting on Emerald Cut. I can’t wait to come back for more adventures. This was the best adventure in my life so far.

Great kayaking and helpful employees! We wanted to do some kayaking through the springs and groves around Orlando and found King’s Landing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were walk-ins and they had instant availability - although I can’t speak to that always being the case. We saw tons of wildlife and were able to find clear blue springs even with some decent rains the previous night and during our paddle. We saw tons of gators, turtles, birds and more. The only thing we missed were the otters - the staff mentioned you can normally see them right off the main canal but we didn’t run into them on our trip (sadly!). The office staff was patient as we figured things out and the launch staff were helpful providing insight and tips to get the most out of our 4hr paddle. Highly recommend King’s Landing if you’re in the area!

Traveled to Disney and had an off day, we wanted to do something different so we tried King’s Landing. I am so glad we did, this place is absolutely amazing! The staff is so friendly and extremely knowledgeable/helpful. Our tour guide, Owen, was fantastic! He let us know this is a family owned business with owners living on the property, which I always appreciate! Owen helped us with beginner kayaking skills and gave us so many facts and stories about the river and ecosystem. He even took us out in the unexpected pouring rain?! The river is beautiful and coming from Philadelphia a surreal kayaking experience. There are well maintained bathrooms and an outdoor shower head which makes it easy to dry off after swimming. And don’t worry about taking photos, because the tour guides snap incredible pictures throughout your tour which are included with your ticket! 10/10 day, thank you Owen and King’s Landing!

Craig and I enjoyed our visit! The floating fire pit with Renee was fun. We will come back and try to catch the crystal blue water ( it was tainted brownish from leaching but still very beautiful)we camped and loved it; there were many ant hills in the grass but we enjoyed sleeping under the stars! Thanks again for an amazing experience! We will return soon.

We had an amazing kayaking experience at Kings Landing, and Xena was the perfect guide! We chose the Summer Nights Tour and from start to finish, the tour was incredible. Xena’s knowledge of the local wildlife and scenery added so much to the adventure, making it more than just a paddle down the river. She made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable, regardless of their skill level, and her enthusiasm was contagious.

The route was stunning, with crystal-clear waters (at the end), lush greenery, and plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife. It had just rained and the water was a dark red color due to the surrounding vegetation, but was still so serene and beautiful! Xena pointed out hidden gems along the way and shared fascinating stories about the area. Her passion for nature, Kings Landing, and history of the area really shined through, and it made the whole experience unforgettable.

Whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced kayaker, this tour is a must-do, and having Xena as your guide is the icing on the cake. I highly recommend Kings Landing for a fun, relaxing, and educational outdoor adventure!

I’m fortunate to be able to paddle the Rock Springs run from King’s Landing annually over the past 6 years. Always a beautiful and relaxing paddle with abundant wildlife. Emerald Cut is definitely worth the effort paddling against the current. Wekiva Landing at the takeout is a great way to end the day and enjoy a beer and food.

We had one of the best experiences kayaking. Our tour guide Nigel, was absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable of the area. Our kids loved the nuggets of information that he gave. We were also lucky enough to spot a gator and turtles. To top it off, there is also photos included in the package. It was lovely to just enjoy ourselves without worrying about taking photos. We made such great memories and will look back at them fondly. Thank you to the Kings Landing team.

OMG! It is the most beautiful kayaking we have ever done! I dare say that it’s one of those activities you can’t miss out on! When you’re paddling up or down the river through the jungle forest you have the feeling that you’re the character of one of the Rudyard Kipling’s book! You watch turtles and alligators sunbathing peacefully among the lily pads, a raccoon climbing up the palm tree and a hawk chasing a snake. You pass the trees hanging over the stream, palms growing up out the water bed and the little islands with the birds resting in the bushes. It’s soooo beautiful! Highly recommend!!!
Just a tip:
1. Book your tour in advance!
2. When leaving the inlet turn to the right. In that case you will start your journey paddling up the stream. The current is quite strong so when you reach the final destination - the Emerald cut - you will be pretty tired. You may take a rest, swim and dive there. When you get your energy back, turn around, relax and let the stream brings your kayak down the river.
3. Both directions of the route are worth to be seen. The right one is more scenic but the left one gives you plenty of opportunities to watch the wildlife.
