After driving around north Vegas for a hotel (none available off strip due to a convention) I decided to keep heading onward and found this motel 6. It is the fanciest place I saw in Beatty and was a lifesaver. Christopher was friendly at check in. I was traveling alone and it was the only place to stay where the room doors are inside, vs accessible outside. Rooms were tidy and clean, pet friendly, quiet. I got the rest I needed. Thank you

1. We were given a receipt of 158$ while the TripAdvisor took 182$ from us for booking the room.||2. The walls were thin and the corridor was not clean. There was too much noise from corridor and the neighboring rooms especially at night.||3. Bathroom smelt of bleach. Can you use perfumes when you clean. They are not expensive to use.

We have stayed here before but this time the initial experience was different because we checked in and the room had no working air con, certainly no cold air. The temperature outside was 98F. We brought this to the attention of reception and they sent someone to take a look and that person agreed the room was too hot to stay in. The reception gave us another room on the second floor, the initial room was on the third floor. The second room was fine. I did hear there was some issues with the air con on the third floor so anyone wanting to stay I would advise against the third floor(top floor). Thats the bad news now things got better the room was clean and what we would expect. The staff were friendly and reception was pretty good too. I do recall that this Motel was named in a science fiction book "It Started In Tonopah" So its a little famous now. Yes I recommend this hotel its right next to Death Valley and not far from the Motel is a Denny's and that was excellent. Take a look round Beatty while your there and remember to fill up with gas while in Beatty as its almost $3 cheaper than in Death Valley

So disappointed. The person who checked me and my family in for only 6hrs after a long ass drive didn't explain fees or deposit for my room just charges me $109.00 for little to no time to rest before another long drive. (Last time I stayed here the guy that helped me not only gave me half off for only 6hrs but was very nice and explained everything.)

We arrived late and left early, so we feel limited on what we can say about this 6. But, we promptly got a very nice room closest to the office and our parking spot. It was immaculately clean, and the bathroom was the nicest we've ever had in a 6. The corner shower with a sitting spot was very much appreciated by my companion. Motel 6 is usually a very good value, and this 6 is a great example of that.

My husband and I stay at this motel 6 often, and have always had a good experience, until this visit, the room was hot all night and after several times of asking the person at the front desk, nothing was done, we asked for more pillows and they were never brought to us. In the morning we found out that the A/C has been reported before and it broken. If this was our first visit, we would not return.

I have been camping for 4 weeks. I haven't had a shower in 10 days, and was really looking forward to getting the trail dust off. Alas, no hot water. I called the front desk. Kid didn't answer. Oh, and the water out the tap was brown. ||Otherwise, the room was clean, and nice sized.

The girl at the front counter is very nice and friendly, but over all I will not stay at Motel 6 again, this hotel does not provide shampoo, conditioner hair dryer conditioner and hair dryer.
