One of my favorite rest stops when heading out of Maine to visit family or coming back to Maine. Nice clean bathrooms, plenty of parking, little shop inside. This is one of the cleanest and nicest stops I’ve ever seen, I’m on the road a lot for work and see a lot of visitor centers and restaurants stops.

If you're lucky, they'll be bringing the rescue dogs up from the deep South to meet with their new owners. The local animal people use the parking lot of this rest area as a central meeting point. This is where we first met our dog Scout.

It’s a resource center . They are super helpful bad friendly. The vibe is friendly. They have clean well maintained restrooms . They have vending machines . Parking 🅿️ is not an issue they have a huge parking lot .

This visitor information center has a separate building for vending machines and ATM. The main building has many brochures and posters about attractions and stores in the state of Maine.
The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. The guides in the visitor information center are very friendly and knowledgeable.
The interior of the visitor center is designed very well, and it has many beautiful, decorative installations for kids and grown-ups alike

Great and wonderful scenery to stretch those legs. Pretty clean rest rooms to drain the kidneys. Polite counter staff . Nice doggo park too. No food except the vending machine shack.

Fascinating maps and products to help explore the beautiful state of Maine. Restrooms also: very clean! And ATM MACHINE so you have cash in hand. And truly a Nice break for our dogs in pet area!!
