I called at 11pm to make a reservation for 6 night stay three rooms and the Front Desk had told me to call back after 2pm. I don’t think you understand I want to be in my room and unpacked by 2 o’clock. There is no way this place. Is that busy for me to have to call back at 2 o’clock when it is now 11am. I don’t understand why this place was recommended to me. There’s plenty of competitors in the area Happy to give me my reservation at 11 o’clock so I could be unpacked/showered and ready by 2pm. When she picked up the phone, she could’ve easily taken my information at that moment and told me the information needed price etc. 3 rooms for 6 nights I mean clearly lost $$$ from us. I’m sure I was sent away by some slob too lazy to complete a task. I’m currently headed to my three rooms booked just down the street. Might stop in and talk with this front desk face to face as I’m confused why our family was turned away. First rule of sales never ask them to come back in hopes with purchasing. I’ll probably stop in there and get an explanation. I don’t want to see a business fall after so many years over ignorance.

"1950s Motel Style" describes the exterior & property location/layout. First time stay for repeat travelers to this area. Super-easy access to shops & restaurants in downtown Portsmouth via either the Long Bridge or Memorial Bridge. Main driveway on Rt 1 Bypass, another driveway across from the athletic fields on Old Post Road. Had a studio king #10 with private porch, lowest level off the Old Post Road, very quiet. Everything we used was clean, everything worked, bed very comfortable, towels and toiletries good quality; desk clerk said the rooms were updated about 2 years earlier. Staff friendly and helpful. Didn't use their breakfast but their coffee was good. Remember the property has 1950s motel layout and floor plans with updated furnishings and remember it's off the Rt 1 Bypass (not Rt 1, where the malls are).

We enjoyed our stay here. Our room (#10) faced the back, so was quieter than I think it would have been otherwise. It was nice to have the kitchenette to heat up lunch leftovers for dinner. The bed was SO comfy and the unit was very clean. Lots of hot water, fluffy towels, everything was great. Lots of options for breakfast - cereal, muffins, fruit, granola and yogurt. Thanks for a great stay.

Clean, clean, clean! Outside looks rustic, inside is modern and very well done! Room is stocked with everything you need, plus a friendly staff. Considering the Portsmouth area, prices are reasonable. The breakfast area is small, but so well thought out with a great variety of choices!

We stayed here in late July 2024. Loved it! The furnishings in the room were comfortable and well thought out - had a table and two chairs in addition to a chest of drawers and microwave and fridge. The breakfast was excellent as well. Way, way better than you get in the big hotel chains! It felt like a bed and breakfast place meal. They have trays if you want to take your food back to your room or eat outside on the grounds which were nice. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We took a chance and stayed here rather than our usual chain hotel stay, and we were very pleased. Would definitely stay here again. Also very convenient to Portsmouth if you are going there. Definitely recommend!

Simple, clean, comfortable. Located within minutes of shopping. Close to downtown Portsmouth and The Portsmouth Music Hall which is why we stayed there. I would stay there again. Staff was pleasant. This is a hidden gem on the seacoast of New Hampshire.

The rooms were clean and a good size. The outside areas could use a bit of a sweeping. We had leaves and spider webs and flies right at our entrance. It was okay, but it didn't leave a good first impression at $175.00 per night.
