I love this place! I went kayaking the first time in my life here and fell in love, so much so that I bought an annual membership the very next time I returned to the area! Sadly a student passed away on the river about a week ago (hence them not being open per the previous reviewer’s experience), so they’re not open right now. I will be returning when they are able to return to business.

Local area to rent canoes, paddleboards, and kayaks on the Connecticut River. You can also launch your own at no cost. We had a nice afternoon stand up paddleboarding and rented our boards from them. Good selection of rentals and helpful friendly staff. Rental by the hour inexpensive.

Oh Ledyard Canoe Club where do I begin, your facetious website states you are open every day, your lazy employee on shift had different plans for your business’s profits today. God gave us this gorgeous day to kayak and Ledyard Canoe Club spit in his face.
