Fantastic stay at the Lake Morey Resort. From the moment we arrived, the owners and staff made us feel like family and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time there. |The rooms highlighted an incredible view overlooking the beautiful lake Morey. |The food can only be described as delicious. |Cannot speak highly enough about the experience staying here and hope to make it back soon!

The Lake Morey Resort was absolutely the best hotel / resort I’ve ever stayed in so far. I will start that it may seem a little dated inside and out but the accommodations and the service were amazing. Greeted by the lovely ladies upfront and then given a map of the resort and restaurants near, we made our way to our terrace bedroom which had the most stunning view of the lake. This resort is also seated right next to some amazing food locations and even has an in house bar and restaurant of its own. An indoor heated pool area with some decent privacy, a quaint little gym, and even a propane operated sauna that can fit 2-3 individuals each. My gf and I absolutely loved our stay and are friend did too. I know if I’m in the Fairlee area again I have no doubt of which hotel I’ll pick to stay in.

While I didn’t stay at the resort, the lake is a great place for outdoor ice skating. Can be a bit bumpy so bring a hockey stick and some knee cap protection or you’ll end up with some bruised knees if you trip

I went there to have dinner with my family on a Sunday night. The dining room was not busy. There might have been six tables filled with diners. Are waitress seemed more interested in flirting with a bunch of guys that had come in, then checking to see how we were, refilling our Waters, and even getting us our check. We waited 20 minutes to get our check after asking for it. The meal was mediocre at best. The rice was dry, carrots were undercooked, and almost Raw, and the haddock was overcooked. It was quite a hefty bill for a mediocre meal.

Such a great establishment! There is so much to do at the report and in the town. Always enjoy our stay.

A bit outdated. The floors are almost “roller coaster” like. I could practically skate board in my room. The carpeting thru out was newer. They had a band in the lounge which was fantastic. We danced, everyone danced. Very fun.|There was a storm the first night knocking out power to some rooms -mine-! Since we had an elderly person with us and medications they needed refrigeration we asked often for updates. The first young man Donald offered nothing. No updates and he seemed very uncaring and certainly NO hospitality! It was getting late and needed to get out family member to bed. It’s August! There was a need for air conditioning too. The front desk clerk told me he could do nothing and my problem. At that point I was really not pleased. Finally a person came out from the back Terese, she helped us to change to a room with power offered help moving our stuff. Why or why did it take hours to get real help!!!!!!||There was a morning breakfast. A buffet. We didn’t know the are so it was the best option. All the basic breakfast foods . The food was fine not good. It was barely warm. Clumpy oatmeal, the eggs were dry but edible. The coffee was weak. The carpeting in the dining area needed vacuuming.||The lake activities were nice, the lake beautiful. You can take out kayaks and paddle boards. We were treated to a bald eagle flying over head.||Breaking for 4 was $87. The room was $800 for 2 nights. ||Do your research and decide if that’s worth it.
