I don’t even know where to begin, we have ordered multiple times now and to say that it is exceptional is an understatement. We used to drive all the way down to the Overland in Gardnerville from Indian Hills to get their burgers and their wings. No need anymore, Roy’s is incredible! Their burgers are perfect, their onion rings are to die for and their wings and the flavors they offer are phenomenal. The service is always impeccable and as I wait there for my pick up order, the espresso martini that Kelly makes each time is bar none, the absolute best you will find anywhere in town. Please do yourself a favor whether you’re traveling by on your way home or live close by, get yourself some food from Roy’s it is so worth it. Kelly the bartender is awesome! The place is beautiful, so much class and immaculately clean. Super attentive and friendly staff!!

Look up GID's water quality testing and it shows almost 900% of the safe arsenic levels and 121% radon in the drinking water. The extra money goes somewhere but it's not to the roads, not the water, not the snow removal. Even the workers admit that the water is horrible for lawns here due to the chemicals.

They have a huge park next to their office but that's it. The extra costs of living in this sub-par neighborhood is not worth it. Add in the constant door to door con-artists and scammers that the police don't deal with because we're technically in Carson City means the Douglas Co. Sheriff's dept doesn't seem to care. We'd have moved long ago if rentals weren't so high.

Disappointed and saddened by substandard customer service. We have owned our home since 2014 in Sunridge. We do our best to be good neighbors and help our neighbors when we can. I take care of removing snow from our neighbors sidewalks and driveways every time it snows. However, our snow plow driver seems to enjoy burying the driveway access each time. He has a very nice truck, with a very nice adjustable blade plow. However, he blasts right by, piling up snow right where it was just removed. I tried going to speak with the plow driver, asking if he would maybe help my 85+ year old neighbor out by removing the snow I just cleared. His response, “You are impending me, my name is Sean, call and complain about me” What happened to customer service? What happened to helping your neighbor? What happened to doing the right thing? What happened to taking responsibility for your actions?

I spent countless hours helping my neighbors without anything in return, just to have some jack wagon in a plow truck burry it back and say, “Go ahead and complain on me”.

So very disappointing!!!

We have lived here for 18 years and have always appreciated them for taking good care of our community. However, after the recent storm the lack of planning and compassion showed. We did not see a plow for 4 days. My elderly neighbors struggled to get safety out of their homes and to shovel their drive ways. No plowing or help was offered
Also after getting stuck in the court 6 times and being frustrated, tired and upset my husband had words with the plow driver. My husband wanted to know why no one had plowed. Both my husband and I called the office and apologized.
The plow driver still targeted our home a refused to plow the street in front of our home. The plow drive left big burns that made it impossible for me to safely get back home. The lack of compassion was unacceptable. I feel that the general improvement district does not care about the residents.

We've lived in Indian Hills for nearly 20 years and have been generally pleased with the management of our improvement district, including special events and care for our neighborhoods. That said, the snow removal, or lack thereof, needs improvement desperately. It should not take 3+ days with 2 trucks to clear every road and circle. Please fix this urgent safety issue.

If you want to live in a neighborhood where there’s a “board” on which the members are all old and have nothing to do but drive around and look for things to send you complaints about, you’ve come to the right place. No HOA, but they treat it like one. Leave the productive members of society alone.

Good park and all but they need to do something about the dog poop and force people to pick it up
