The location is great ! The beach is right across the street. The rooms are outdated and it looks like they have not remodeled anything in a very long time. They had wifi but no phone to call the front desk and when I used the microwave to make my coffee I blew a fuse and had to go down to the front desk to ask them to re-set my microwave in my room. And if you had an issue in your room you have to make sure you go to the front desk during office hour because when the office is closed you will have to wait for the next day when the office opens. The staff was very friendly !! I am glad we only had the room for 2days and that we used the room to sleep and shower. I loved the location but don't think we would visit or stay at the Harris Sea Ranch Motel again.

We were given room 1 and I loved the décor. Not the usual outdated tacky look but a nice beach house feel. Better than I expected for the price charged. The bathroom was small. I had to open the shower curtain to shave and tiny toilet area that the door hit when open but no need to spend time in there anyway. The cable would not work and the Wifi reception was not existent but it kept my guy away from the TV and outside. Perfect spot on the strip to sit outside and watch people walk by. Right next to our favorite places like Bernie's, The Goat and Wally's. They were short staffed and many rooms were not ready on time but they were pleasant about their issue. Very important to mention is FREE parking just behind the motel with an access to walk into the court yard. Didn't like the vendors set up at our hotel, blocked our view but that's part of the strip. After staying at two other hotels at Hampton Beach, I will only come back here. The street is VERY loud in the front rooms but it quiets down after 11pm and stays quiet until after 8am. We checked out before 9am and the lobby was still locked. They kept the courtyard exceptionally clean but I was disappointed they lock the hot tub early at night.

The room was cozy and just right for my husband and I for a weekend getaway. We had a side balcony with an ocean view and a great place to people watch. We did hear garbage trucks every morning, but hey, that is what happens when you stay right on the boardwalk. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! Thanks for allowing us to check in later!! The only reason for my 4 star rating was the parking was very tight, and there was a pretty sizable van parked in the lot that made it almost impossible to park. Everything else was awesome and just what we were looking for!

I almost hate to post this as I feel like I am letting the cat out of the bag on this one. One of Hampton Beaches best kept secrets! My wife and I stayed here on 6/16/18. Our room was nicer then I expected by far, the location is second to none and the partial ocean view was fantastic. For me, other then the bed and pillows amazing comfort was the fact they have a hot tub right in front of the hotel. You can soak in the suds and people watch just feet from your room! The owner was very pleasant and accommodating! We will most definitely stay at this hotel again! Just for the record, you would be hard pressed to find a person that has higher expections then I. I get grossed out very easily! That was not the case here! I love this hotel and can not wait to return! Hampton Beach is my happy place!

We stayed at this hotel last memorial day and enjoyed it so decided to come back 4th of July. We had a great room with amazing view of the ocean. It's very reasonably priced, just wished they still had coffee in the morning, it was a big disappointment. The website should be updated because we heard so many folks complaining about the same thing. The rooms needs some updating but other than that we loved it and Marylee is very sweet.

We got 2 rooms somewhat last minute in May or June (compared to other times when we book in late January for best rooms!) so we didn't expect too much in a way of large rooms or kitchen space. We were happily surprised with the room size and view of the strip and beach. The place was SO CLEAN, I couldn't believe it. Hot days kept the window AC unit going, just wish they had it going for when we checked in; so hot without it revved up! It's right across from the beach, just how we like it, private balcony, full size beds I believe (wish we had at least queen beds though, kings would have been better), and the mini fridge was a godsend since we didn't get a kitchenette this time (again, last minute booking). Overall, I'd book here again in a heartbeat. With the AC going we didn't hear traffic or neighbors (thick walls) and staff were polite the two times we required their attention (check in/out and fresh towels). Happy with the place!

I loved that we were across from the beach. The road was closed temporarily; which was awesome. We were centrally located to everything. the rooms were definitely out dated but they were clean. with the covid they are not cleaning room within your stay so I had to put out dirty towels to get more towels and wash clothes. There was no blow dryer in the room, however I asked for one and was brought one. The place fit our needs.

I arrived at the Harris Sea Ranch Motel in Hampton Beach, NH and was greeted by a very nice man who explained the WiFi and covid rules and welcomed me there. I went to the room to bring items in and do a quick clean before my husband and two children came. I found a mediocre room (which I expected and that is fine) that was FILTHY. I didn’t notice upon first entering but as I started putting things on counters, I could feel a film and bumpy stuck on material. I began wiping with Cleaning wipes and was shocked at the filth and grime that was coming up. The counter in front of the microwave had hardened red sauce (spaghettios maybe) and grime. The inside of the microwave has not been wiped out. The glass plate and inside roof was splattered with food. I wiped So. Much. Sand. Off of the stuffed chairs, the wipe was brown. I went to the front desk to verify that the room had indeed been cleaned and the very nice man behind the desk had an attitude shift and was joined by another gentleman who both turned quite sour at that question. They both just looked at me and so I repeated “has the room been cleaned because it is filthy” I showed them some of my cleaning wipes. The newer guy said “would you like me to refund your money and you can go?” Well, that was some great customer service right there! I said that I needed more cleaning wipes because I ran out and haven’t even gotten to the bathroom yet. First guy walked up to a housekeeping closet and handed me some chlorox wipes. Nice bud. ||||||THEN I SAW THE BATHROOM. Guys. It’s as if someone brushed out their hair and left it on the ground. Look at the pictures, hair was all over the bathroom, THERE WAS A BELLY BUTTON RING ON THE FLOOR OF THE BATHROOM. Come on. During a pandemic!? EVER!? This was so gross. I had my husband bring a vacuum and more cleaning supplies. I have never been so utterly turned off by an establishment. ||||I finally got everything clean and put my bag of makeup and blow dryer in the cabinet under the sink. Next morning, EVERYTHING in my bag is sopping wet, had to pour water out of my blow dryer. The sink was leaking water, super. I told buddy boy this and he said “I’ll make a note that the sink is leaking”. Okay. Later in our stay I had husband let them know the light on the porch burnt out the night before, with two kids sleeping IN the one room, the porch was our solace after 8 pm. Nope, come to find out the lights are on a timer to automatically turn off at 1030. He said “this is a family place”. Cool. I told him the lights in the neighbors porch were still in after ours went off and he threw back so much attitude and said “do you want your money back and to go? We only have happy customers at the beach”. Well then, do things to make your customers happy!!! I told him “you sound ridiculous, your making this seem like my fault. A clean room with working amenities that don’t ruin my stuff is what I’m looking for!” He then told me that parking at the beach is usually $40/night and guests get free parking. Um.... you promote that at a perk to staying with you, so yeah, again, I’d expect the bare minimum there. I will say, my husband also had his car there, so technically we had two cars, but I reminded him that Mary Lou told me this was perfectly fine as long as we double parked in on one of the long middle parking spots (which we did). Then told him we would be happy to move the truck. He didn’t respond.|| ||||The woman who does the bookings, Mary Lou, was lovely and kind. I wonder if she knows what kind of help she has cleaning rooms and running the front desk.|| ||||You could not pay me to stay in this filthy motel again. So so gross and not at all worth the money. Honestly, if the room was just clean, I would have been fine with all the other stuff. But don’t put me in a room that looks like this. Basic upkeep people.|| ||||If you're down to go and party in L street and go to the beach and not care much about some grime then this is your place. If you are grossed out by these pictures, save yourself the time.
