I rented 2 rooms room
17 on second floor upon checking in it was very hot in the room and had a heavy odor of marijuana in the morning the toilet did not flush Room 5. Had very erratic heat control. Over all room was fine. However. My neighbor in room 4. Was in and out of her room non stop from 1 am to 4 every 15 mins or so it was very loud so it made a tough night sleep. I have reached out via email and have not heard back. A reasonable price to pay But a little disappointing

The room we had, I'm not sure I'd let Mt dog sleep in it. The floors were so uneven that we felt like we were on a roller coaster ride. Some parts of the floor were soft, feeling underfoot. It's definitely not worth the price.

Words cannot describe how incredible my experience at Blue Jay Motel was. The owners were the sweetest and funniest people I have ever met and the location could not be more perfect. My partner and I had a beautiful stay here, the rooms are so cozy and clean. We came for a show at Bernie's and wish we stayed longer. I can't wait to be back!

We just spent the weekend at Hampton Beach and stayed at the Blue jay Motel ||We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay! The room was small BUT VERY CEAN! The outdoor atmosphere was very clean and pleasant as well. The owners (as I understand are new as of Fall of 2021) were very accommodating and pleasant to talk to. We will definitely be staying at the Bluejay Motel again😊

I booked a double room for my daughter and i to have a weekend away. I booked in early May for a late June weekend. I spoke to a lovely lady telling me it would be $135.00 per night. I agreed. My credit card was charges $270.18. I received an email saying this amount was charged to my M/C account. I never received a confirmation email. When we arrived we discovered NEW owners! They found my reservation and told me I had a balance of another $270.18. I asked for what? They said for 2nd night. I explained that when I made the reservation the "old owners" quoted me $135.00 night. No matter what, they were not going to accept the price "old owner" gave me. I drove 4 hrs to get to Hampton Beach and unless I paid we would have no reservations or one for just 1 night. I understand there was a problem for new owners with my reservation....but you had the choice of honoring my reservation but did not. I am sure you are booked most nights for summer / fall .... but because of your choice you have lost a customer!

Blue Jay is a great little motel. Very reasonable prices even in peak season. Owner is a gracious and friendly lady. Brand new deck on the second story is really comfortable and spacious to lounge on with nice chairs and tables. There is a super large and very clean grill for guests to use as well as an outdoor shower for when you come up from the beach. The beach is a 5min walk away. The room was impeccably clean with a microwave, minifridge and keurig. The queen room was on the smaller side with retro wood paneling but that was just fine for our party of two. Other rooms for more people are probably larger. This was a stellar find and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

The first time I stayed a the Blue Jay, I knew I would be back. I went back this past weekend and asked for a 2nd floor room, they gave me lucky room 13, perfect room!!! The rooms are a bit small with a queen bed, but who cares, how much time do you spend in the room anyway. The room was very clean and orderly, with plenty of hot water for my shower. The air conditioner was really quiet too, great to sleep with it on. The owners are so nice there, they treat you like family. The price of the room was good, and I stayed two nights. Plenty of gas grills to cook on if you want. The 2nd floor porch is huge with enough glass topped table for plenty of people. Yes, make reservations there and I'm sure you'll go back as I do!!! 🙂

This will be mine & my husbands second stay at The Blue Jay. Mary & Rose are hostesses with the mostest! They make an already good stay turn great ! The rooms are always clean and well kept. The decks are spotless and beautiful. The grounds are kept up really well too. Short walk to beach and sites. This past weekend was The Seafood Festival, and it was awesome! Can't wait until next year !!
