Fantastic place to stay if you want to not be so far away from Portsmouth and still be in Maine. The location is perfect, we stayed in room 8 which is a two queen suite. Beds were comfortable than any hotel bed, coffee was good. Loved that there were snacks, we would stay here again!

Perfect location just over the bridge from Portsmouth made for a nice walking commute to and from shopping and dinner.

Beautiful and quaint inn with thoughtful amenities. Nice to arrive and make a coffee with oat milk in the lobby which has a cozy living room vibe and was nicely decorated for the holidays. Nice toiletries and comfortable bed.

Peaceful! Would definitely stay again!

This was the perfect location for visiting Portsmouth, NH which is a short walk across the bridge. Easy parking, quiet street with view of bay. Easy keyless entry. The bedding was heavenly and so comfortable. If you are staying in Rooms 5 or 6, you will have to carry your luggage up two flights of narrow stairs. We stayed in Room 6 which is a smaller room with angled ceilings, queen bed, nice bathroom. Would definitely stay again (just not on third floor).

The Water Street Inn is a wonderful, clean, convenient place to stay. They have thought of some many extra touches that make it extra special. It truly is the best of both worlds. You get the small feel of an inn with all the modern luxuries. I will definitely be back!

We chose the Water Street Inn for the close location to both Kittery & Portsmouth. We found the Inn to be very charming & welcoming. Our room was so lovely. The bed was super comfy & the shower was wonderful! We spent time in the common area where we enjoyed our beer & wine as well as the complimentary coffee & snacks. It was quiet & relaxing. I would recommend choosing the Water Street Inn for your next stay.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Water Street Inn! It’s cozy and accommodating and easy to navigate checking in and out!|We were able to walk every where from the inn and enjoy everything that Kittery/Portsmouth had to offer!|We are looking forward to coming back in the spring!

Our stay at Water Street Inn was great! It is on a quiet street but still just a few minute walk into Portsmouth. Their lobby has anything you could ask for in a hotel lobby and the rooms have great attention to detail. The staff was very friendly, Michaela was very helpful and accommodating to our early check in and late check out requests.
