Very comfortable beds and friendly staff. Not the fanciest place, but clean, close to the beach and very accommodating! We will definitely stay here again with how affordable it is. My daughter and her friend enjoyed hanging out on the balcony and we never had to drive because we were so close!

Been going to Hampton since 1975..and since 2000 been always staying at the tides…all
Though it has changed owners a couple of times to this day the owners picks up from their predecessors and keep up the excellent work…the latest owners Gary Peter and Sam always so friendly and helpful but most of all have an excellent staff and their rooms always top notch with cleanliness. A congratulations on a a wonderful job you have done with the renovations. Guys thank you so much keep up the great work and as usual see you next summer!! BEST PLACE TO STAY wholesome visiting Hampton.

I also went in mid May, and i don't write reviews much any more, just went back this weekend for a Thur/Fri stay for 2 shows, and decided to add a day for who ever was playing on Juneteenth, which was a great choice. The manager and staff is sooooo great, the rooms are very clean, not a ton of amenities, but i bet you're not expecting those. We were all over the place for 3 days and people taking care of the room found us each day, once finding me walking back to the hotel for 30m....you want to leave cash in these rooms, they are so great. ||I choose the rating based on the stars of the hotel, fwiw....please take my 5 and i hope you also have a great weekend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Tides. Very convenient location. Close in walking distance to the main strip, casinos, restaurants, shops and ofcourse, the beach. Very tight parking for an SUV. (We got lucky and got the end spot)
Staff is very welcoming and helpful.
Our room was a bit outdated but for 2 nights at the beach, it was manageable. Bed was comfy and the shower was hot. No pool which is fine with how close you are to the ocean. Great little family owned place to rest your head.

Extremely clean room the beds were very comfortable and ice cold air. So close to the boardwalk. I hate walking especially in the extreme heat but it's so close that it wasn't an issue at all.do not believe any bad reviews my room was updated.will definitelystay again. .room 5 is really nice one bad thing no ice machine you can buy a bag for 5 dollars...

The staff was wonderful, as was the short walk to the beach! The 2 queen room had so much space and it was very clean. The beds were really comfortable and had soft bedding that I loved. My favorite features of the motel were the table and 2 chairs in front of every room. It created this fun environment where many of the guests hung out after a day at the beach. We met so many nice people and made new friends! We will definitely stay at the Tides Motel again!

When we arrived we were greeted by Chris at the front desk and she made you feel like family. Chris, went above and beyond to make every detail of our stay exceptional all week. She gave us information on local bike trails to an excellent restaurant for our anniversary dinner away from the tourist shoreline. |Our room was spotless and very large, the beds were very comfortable, internet connection was perfect, and you’re one block away from the center of all the activities on the Hampton shops, restaurants and shoreline…. |We are planning to stay here again!
