Getting right to the point, finally a boutique hotel in Asbury Park that matches the reputation of a city that’s undergone and continues to revitalize itself. The Saint Laurent Social Club as the retro hot pink neon sign boasts on the hotels exterior hits every high mark and checks all the boxes. A very clean, chic and cool hotel. The petite room was very comfortable and well appointed with modern decor. We had an amazing little getaway. The new restaurant, Judy’s is a wonderful addition to the hotel that made our stay all that much better. The cocktails and the food are all beautifully presented and delicious! |We will definitely be a returning guests!

The St. Laurent is a luxurious oasis nestled on a quiet block in Asbury Park. We hosted our rehearsal dinner in The Lounge at The St. Laurent, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Marissa and Matthew were fantastic—clear and thoughtful in their communication and presentation of the available packages.
The buffet was abundant, beautifully displayed, and absolutely delicious. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, with the bartenders standing out for their friendly and efficient service. I also appreciated the inclusion of a non-alcoholic option in the bar package, which made it easy to accommodate all our guests.

I stayed at The St. Laurent the night before my wedding and used the room to get ready. For anyone hosting a larger wedding in Asbury Park, this is the perfect retreat to rest and recharge before the festivities. Even off-season, when the backyard coffee shop was closed, coordinating a morning meal via DoorDash was simple and hassle-free.

I had an amazing experience at the Saint Laurent Social Club in Asbury Park! Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was beautifully designed and spotless. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower was fantastic – definitely a great way to unwind. I also had the pleasure of attending their New Year’s Eve event, which was absolutely incredible! The atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly, and everything exceeded my expectations. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

It’s a seemingly nice boutique hotel, but the price is only reflected in the atmosphere & aesthetic of the building. There are basically no free amenities and anything added on top of that you had to pay heavily out of pocket. We were there in February. Due to this, the water runs cold… and upon us asking for this to be addressed we were asked to “run it longer” when it didn’t work after 30+ minutes they finally told us to use a different bathroom on the next floor. The new bathroom was freezing cold and the water didn’t warm up at all after waiting for it to warm up for around 10 minutes… way worse than our already cold bathroom. The bedroom we paid for was big enough for one fold down bed and not much else. The walls are incredibly thin and we could hear every single footstep, every door slam, every lyric to every song playing downstairs. Additionally, someone was smoking outside our window or in an adjacent room and our room was filled with cigarette smoke for half the night.

My wife and I visited for drinks on Saturday evening. The place was gorgeous, the service was excellent, and the drinks were very good.

Everything was great except for their process for collecting payment.

After ordering our first round of drinks I was asked for a credit card to hold for our tab. I stated that I preferred to pay cash to which the server said "We are a cashless establishment. We are happy to accept cash, however we cannot administer change." This was disappointing, but not the end of the world...fine, I'll just use my debit card...same thing.

When I asked for the check, the server brought over the credit card terminal and stated that a 20% gratuity was automatically included and I had the option of adding additional gratuity if I chose to do so. This was a huge turn-off for me.

I want to start by saying that I am always a 20% tipper for meals, unless there is a major issue, but for drinks, which is what we were having on Saturday, I typically tip $1 or $2 per drink.

The issues I have are #1 I didn't see any indication on the website or menu that it was a cashless facility, #2 I didn't see any indication that I would be REQUIRED to tip 20%, and #3 the server under-charged us, and instead of saying so, she instead told us that she charged us for the wrong tab.

Unfortunately in service-based businesses, you often get judged by how you finish, not how you start, and I am guilty in this case 100%. It just didn't FEEL good.

Cashless I can get over, no biggie. I may have tipped 20% anyway, but to require it FEELS awful. Finally, why not just be honest and tell me you forgot to add something to our bill? I'm not looking to get one over on you, I get it, people make mistakes. Again, didn't FEEL great.

I never want to be the client who doesn't return to a business without giving them the opportunity to address my concerns, which is why I'm leaving this review.

Your place is fantastic, and this is only my opinion, however I think you are doing your clients a disservice by operating this way.

Absolutely loved our stay at The St. Laurent in Asbury Park!

From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's charm and modern elegance. The rooms are immaculate, featuring a bright and airy design. The beds are super comfortable with the best crisp sheets. Design and details in the room is thoughtfully designed to ensure comfort and relaxation.

The food at The St. Laurent is fantastic. I was delighted with the lunch options by the pool, especially the perfectly crunchy French fries.

Dinner was a culinary delight, with each dish using seasonal flavors. The dining experience alone is worth the visit!

The management and staff deserve special mention for their incredible service. They were always helpful, attentive, and ready to accommodate any request with a smile.
