The boardwalk bathrooms were closed due to no water, but if you had to go #1 in an emergency, then go because the bathroom in the building is about 5-10 minutes away. Water temp was swim able as I saw kids and adults alike in the water. Very chilled place in the off season.'

Love this place. Married a Jersey girl and this was the first part of the shore she introduced me to. Also been a Bruce fan and one of his greatest albums was cut here live. So my expectations were high and it did not disappoint. Hope they can generate enough money to repair the main building here because it has great bars and shops and is iconic

They really have fixed the boardwalk up over the years! Lots of cute little stores and activities like mini golf and a splash park! We took some pics near the art walls and enjoyed the beach. The water was a little rough but we made the best of it! Also a huge shout out to Buttermee pancakes they were divine!!!!!!

Good clean and family friendly beach, they charge usd 10 per person, kids and adults alike. Entry to the beach is free after 5:30 pm, which gives good time for folks to enter and enjoy day light and water.

They have once of the best boardwalk. Ample eating and dining options.

One of the gem of Jersey Shore. Very well maintained, security personal making their rounds all the time, life guards looking after swimmers and alarming time to time. Bike free clean boardwalk let visitors stroll freely. It’s worth spending $10 entry fee.

E street band was awesome.
Too many people for me to enjoy the concert on the beach experience.
Only one side screen and luckily we were 1/3 of the way from the stage.
Not able to sit on the blanket, would get stepped on & everyone was standing entire time.
I would rather pay $178 for a stadium seat.

Love coming here early in the morning and walking the boardwalk. It's so peaceful and serene. The old architecture of Convention Hall against the majesty of the ocean, sun rising above the horizon just brings a sense of zen.
During the day, it's a fun, busy place with great eats and views. The beach can get a bit crowded, but it's well worth coming and checking out.

The Asbury Park beach and boardwalk of today are not the same ones I knew growing up. Today they are full of businesses, beachgoers, foodies and people who just want to enjoy the sounds of the waves. The boardwalk has been refurbished, and there are many new restaurants and hotels. In addition, to famous landmarks like the Stone Pony where Bruce Springsteen got his start. The boardwalk itself is rather accessible, it could get bumpy at times. There is access to the beach as you can see in some of the photos. However, it only will let you go halfway to the water. This is great for a day trip, or a weekend trip so long as you don't stay too close to the beach as the hotels are rather pricey. Head on out and enjoy yourself!
