Had an amazing time with CJ as our guide for the Ghosts & Legends of the Downtown tour! Tiny but mighty (saying this also someone who’s 5’2), she had a very charming and stage-like presence as she recounts the stories of each area we stopped at around Asbury Park.

She’s a great story-teller and approaches the more haunting topics with respect and a nice balance of humor to even it all out.

If you want something that makes you think differently about Asbury Park and get an unforgettable night with friends, I highly recommend it!

This was our first time visiting the museum which overall was very interesting. When we booked the tour online, we selected the "Witches, Rituals, etc. " as something we'd be interested in hearing about.

Before starting the tour, Georgia, our tour guide, indicated that someone else (a new employee) would be joining our group to shadow her. It wasn't so much a "hey do you mind if he joins the group" but a more matter of fact statement that he'd be joining and possibly taping the tour. We were also joined by yet another person who also "shadowed" Georgia. While we understand that training is necessary, it should be done on company time not with a paid tour. Our tour really wasn't "private" since instead of having just my friend and I in the group, it wound up being four people in our group. Maybe "mock" tours could be the way to go for employee training.

Georgia was good and entertaining with the stories. We did feel like most of the tour was general information (which was quite interesting) and very little on the witches/ritual, save for maybe 10-15 minutes on the back end of the tour. Because there were so many objects to look at, there didn't appear to be enough time to read the cards that were placed by some of the objects. Granted it's a timed tour, but it would have been cool to have a few minutes after the 'general tour" portion to just look around and try to read some of the information associated with the objects.

Again, it was a really cool place and would definitely consider coming back.

Me and my fiance decided to try out a tour - unfortunately for my wallet, we didn't have 6 people for the tour ticket, so we spent $120 for the tour for just yhe two of us. I always enjoy spooky stuff, so it was neat, and they had a few cool things. I would suggest having a full 6 people for that tour ticket as I feel it wasn't worth that much for the walk through. They do have a lovely bookstore that is free ! I am interested in trying out their ghost tour and joining one of their seances next time !

A great, weird little shop in the heart of Asbury Park. Books, paranormal gifts and novelties are on the ground floor, and the second floor is a paranormal museum. They also do special events for the holidays. I have not made it to the Jersey Devil fest yet, but I had an absolute blast during the Krampus parade.

This place is thd absolute best! Kathy, the owner, is like the Dos Equis woman- she is a historian and paranormal expert, and shares tons of first-hand stories as well as historical facts about hauntings and paranormal activities in Asbury Park. The ghost tours are spooky and fun (with the best and most entertaining guides!) and I could soend hours in the museum. I’ve gotten tarot readings here from Delaney, spent time shopping, and even just sat and chatted when I’m lucky enough to run into Kathy in the store. She loves chatting and is so generous with fun and interesting conversation. Can’t recommend this place enough. If you’ve never been, you’re missing out!!!
