Stopped in late yesterday afternoon for a drink and was ignored as well as pretty much pushed out by the regulars. Husband waited at the bar for a few minutes but needed to use the restroom so I left my purse on the table we were at and stepped to the bar in his place to order. While waiting both bartenders walked past me, looked at me and then continued to both search for paper plates. While standing at the bar, 2 men sitting at the bar went over to the table my purse was at and occupied the table while leaning over my purse blocking it from my site. My husband returned, grabbed my purse out from the guy and we left.
I get when it's busy and a simple hi, I'll be right with would have been appropriate but to look right at me and ignore us for nearly 10 minutes is just being blatantly rude.
My intent is to share our experience and hopefully prevent others from having to encounter this behavior or for the management to try and correct the attitudes of the personnel.

I didn't go into the actual bar. I attended a wedding reception in their out-building. It was absolutely gorgeous. I love the outdoor stage. The porta potties were freshly emptied and cleaned before the event. The staff was very friendly.

Went there for a baby shower and was a really cool place. Nice place to hang out or throw a party for whatever occasion

The Nut House has a beautiful outdoor area for many events, as well as bar. Live music, great service and staff. Owner is a wonderful person. Can't wait to get there again.

Was there for the first time for a wedding for some of my Mexican family memebers..wasn't at all what I expected..most Mexican weddings here, that I've atteneded, are done at the fairgrounds with the exception of mine at Retlaw. I was INSANELY surprised by the venue. They have a playground, a cute garden to walk through, the barn itself was pretty well kept, the grounds were impeccable. They even have a bunch of chickens and geese by the main bar that you can visit! I didn't explore much but there was definitely a lot more to see! Great job Nut House!

Did not have food there, but this was a great venue for a wedding and Mel was very attentive to all our needs. Don't let the name or location fool you, I highly recommend this venue.

My favorite Bar. I recommend going! Especially when they have events. The events are always a great time. There is room to spread out and the owners work very hard to make it a great place for everyone that goes. It feels like home when I go here.

Very cool place. Had a great time. Best pizza I've had outside a Pizzeria. Owner, staff and patrons SUPER FRIENDLY. I hope to be back sometime.
