Old historic building that has been renovated to provide hotel rooms. Pleasant friendly reception staff. Breakfast is a limited continental but adequate. We booked it based on the booking.com site marketing an outstanding restaurant. It may be but we will never know. It was shut and had been for months. It seems to only open in season from looking further into previous reviews. If it is shut that's understandable but at least be honest in the marketing and provide the months it is open and the ones it's not.

My husband and I recently spent three nights at the Centennial Hotel in Concord, New Hampshire and enjoyed it very much. Our plan was to ski at Gunstock Mountain for two days and decided it would be fun to stay in Concord.|The staff at the Centennial was very friendly and attended to our every need. Our room was beautiful and very contemporary with an updated bathroom. Everything was comfortable and immaculately clean. The continental breakfast was very nice and the coffee delicious.|We highly recommend this lovely Victorian hotel to anyone for a place to stay in the Concord area.

We stayed here prior to a procedure at the Concord Hospital -- this hotel is extremely convenient to it and offers special hospital rates. Our room was large, comfortable, clean, and sympathetically updated, with historic character and modern features. The staff was friendly and helpful. A very nice, relaxing stay overall.

We had a wonderful stay. I will admit the outside of the building had my sixth sense on alert but once we entered it was beautiful. Checking in was a breese and I was assured the ghosts were friendly. The room was modern, clean and warm. Shower was large and bed was really comfy. I thought it was a great price and I had no encounters of the supernatural..to my dismay.

We had a Superior King room which was generous in size. The bed was very comfortable. The nice continental breakfast had bagels, English muffins, sweet rolls, cereal, yogurt, and a bowl with apples and bananas. Coffee and tea was available until 11AM. Unfortunately the parking lot was not plowed. Someone had shoveled a small path but the lot was snow covered and at points icy. This review would have been 5 star if the parking lot had been plowed. Also note WiFi and breakfast aren’t free. There is a nominal daily charge plus tax for these services. WiFi and breakfast were fine but I wish the daily fee was part of the room rate. A charming hotel. Good location. Has elevator which you access from the building back. Will stay here again.

First the positives: an interesting building from the outside; a large car park; not too far from the centre of Concord (easily walkable, but uphill on the way back); a nice bar and restaurant area. The barman was friendly and welcoming. The meal we had was very nice. |The downsides were the room and the charging to our room. |We had a corner room on the ground floor (but fortunately not next to or above the bar/restaurant area - see the comments from reviewers!) so location was fine, but the double bed was wedged in the corner, so one of us had to climb over the bed to get in; the windows were not working - painted shut or 'self-closing' as they were heavy sash windows - apart from the bathroom window; the bathroom was freezing cold in the morning and the toilet and basin etc were dated; in fact everything in the room was dated.|Checkout on 18 October 24: we were told everything was on our credit card (as we had paid upfront for the reservation) so there was nothing to settle and they would send us the bill on email. But as we had eaten a meal in the restaurant the night before I asked how much the meal was - $186 - so I said 'fine' and we left. |When I checked my credit card statement later that day, the cost seemed high and I found that I had been charged exactly 2 times for the meal. I phoned, but no pick up. I emailed the hotel asking for a refund. I was told that the manager would look into it (it was an obvious error - we were there for one night and there were 2 charges for the restaurant of exactly the same figure!). Nothing happened. I chased them again and again and a week later, on 24 October, I got the refund I was owed. Not impressive.

My husband and I went there to celebrate our anniversary. We purchased the "Romantic Package" and it was a wonderful experience. The building is lovely and our room was very comfortable and included a covered deck area. There was a cheese and cracker platter as well as a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room. The staff was welcoming, including the wait staff at the restaurant there. Overall, an excellent time!

Old nursing home turned into a hotel. Our room was huge, nice, with comfortable beds. Large shower with thick towels and bathrobes. The only issue we had was that there isn't any place in the bathroom to hang your clothes or towels, and the dining room is closed till further notice. We did find a restaurant close by
