Exceptional Stay with Great Service!

Our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Concord was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their friendly and professional service. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The location is fantastic, close to downtown Concord and many local attractions. We appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. The lobby and common areas were modern and inviting, and the on-site amenities like the café added a nice touch.

We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Concord

I have to say that this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a Courtyard or any Marriott hotel. We tried to book an extra night and I was allowed to through my Titanium Elite booking number/agent. Then my reservation was just canceled. Okay fair enough, evidently the manager or someone told the NHPPA event director there were no rooms. Then 2 days before hand we were told there actually were rooms but at that point I had made other reservations I could not longer cancel. When we checked into our room the smell of paint, construction, maybe carpet and other strong chemicals was overwhelming. In addition our room was 75 degrees and the air would only blow hot. We asked the front desk and were told that there was nothing to do about the smell because of renovations and they checked the AC and said it was now working, when I went to bed that night it was definitely not working and it was blowing even hotter and the room was 82 degrees. I turned off the entire system because I was exhausted and just needed to sleep at that point. The next day I had an all day Zoom that I needed to be on, we had our Do Not Disturb sign on our door. At 11am (ish) we had a knock on the door followed by BANGING on our door. When I excused myself from my Zoom I went to the door to be accosted by a maintence man who demanded access to my room. I explained I had my Do Not Disturb sign on and I was in the middle of a very important Zoom and now was not a convenient time. He proceeded to try to bully me into allowing him into my room and when I told him no and he would have to come back he was rude and stormed off. Evidently he was off the next 2 days so he said that the hotel would have to deal with a broken AC. We were hot, the beds are lumpy, the towels are super thin, the room smelled like paint and frankly everyone was really rude. I was not even acknowledged for my Marriott status and was not even offered points or anything. Super disappointing experience. I will never be back.

We arrived late at night on October 8. The clerk did not check ID. She just handed us keys. This is a very large hotel and when we asked about where to park and where the room was, the description was “back there”. |The bed seemed very wrinkled, like someone had been lying on it and the sheets were wrinkled. This could be due to the comforter nature of the bedding. The bed was comfortable. We were put in an ADA room (not requested) and I noted that the shower gel,shampoo and conditioner were at adult standing eye level which would be challenging for someone in a wheelchair to access. |Breakfast the next day: one very harried woman was taking orders and preparing food and serving. She said there would be a delay since she was by herself. They were out of oatmeal. I asked what was fastest to order and she said it didn’t matter, there were still five orders ahead of me and a line of people behind me. Lots of very irritated people since wait was at least 20 minutes for simple food. They should just do grab and go muffins if they can’t serve quickly at a business hotel. |I would not stay here again.

We were visiting the area and needed a place central to the towns we were visiting; this was smack dab in the middle of those two towns. The rates were good for the weekend we were staying and it's really close to downtown Concord. Parking was spacious and check in was easy.

Our room was on the second floor and had two full sized beds. It was a standard room with a mini fridge, coffee machine, and TV. We had a balcony which was a pleasant surprise. The room seemed clean; the bathroom sink was outside of the hallway which was a little outdated. The room was quiet, I didn't hear any traffic or neighbors.

On the first floor, there was a lounge area, a cafe that served Starbucks, and a mini convenient store. The woman who helped us was nice but she didn't make my espresso martini correct; it tasted like pure coffee liqueur, it's not worth the $13 something.

The pool was indoors with a Jacuzzi. The gym was a good size. Overall, we had a good stay and experienced quality for the value. I would stay there again.

I would not recommend staying at Courtyard Concord. The tap water in my room was opaque and unsettling (see picture). Construction noise started as early as 7:30 AM, making it impossible to relax or sleep in. On top of that, the hallways and rooms were overwhelmed with a strong smell of fresh paint, which was unpleasant. Overall, a disappointing experience.

We had 2 rooms for 3 nights the beginning of August. The rooms were quiet and the people at the front desk were very nice. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and cool but the pillows smelled dirty. I think they need to throw them all out and order in new. We arrived late at night so we could not see around the hotel. When we traveled during the day we saw a Homeless tent camp located not far from the entrance. I think the next time we will stay in Manchester and just have a little drive to get to Concord.

Had a girls’ night with visiting college friends, and decided to order take-out and camp out by the fireplace in the hotel bar. Michael provided us with excellent drinks and service the whole night, and we had a great time!

Was a good stay. Had some weird confusion when asking about why our tv didn’t work. Lady in front said that they don’t have tv in the bedrooms so we tried again later. It worked. Was it a ok stay for what we needed. Yes.
