On approximately 21 SEP 2024 a reservation was made with IHG/Holiday Inn Express for a stay under a block of rooms reserved for a wedding party. At no time were we notified that this property was changing ownership, that amenities were not available, nor that it was a non-refundable transaction.||Upon arrival, we find a hotel in disarray in the middle of changing ownership at midnight of that night. Front end staff had no idea of what was going on, we were told a renovation was underway but nothing more. We were there for a wedding so we had to proceed to a rehearsal and dinner. Upon return, we noted the room type guaranteed was not given to us, rooms were not clean, and no management on site to discuss. ||When speaking with other wedding attendees, we decided to discuss with manager as a group since there were numerous life and safety issues that needed immediate attention such as exit doors chained closed and room doors not able to close. In addition there was no heating in some rooms while others had no HVAC and were extremely hot. Cleaning staff left rooms open for anyone to enter. None of the amenities listed on the website were available, everything from breakfast and coffee to simply ice from ice machines. Pool was drained, gym was dirty, exit doors were locked, some floors had wiring and junction boxes hanging from ceilings, etc. There was just significant concerns that led us notify management. When the group talked to the manager, he stated he was the operations manager and started off the conversation being short and rude. There were approx 12 guests wanted to express their problems and he cut us off after 3 mins and said that the hotel is under construction and nothing he could do. We said he needed to at least listen to our complaints, he responded with giving us 5 mins before he had to go fill cleaning carts. We said not acceptable and requested to know the name of the management company and he refused to give the name. we persisted and he proceeded to call police and had us escorted from property. Moral is don't complain about your poor stay or you will be threatened and have the police called on you.

The check in process was smooth, I have nothing bad to say about service as I had nearly no interaction with the staff. The room I had 103 greeted me with a chunk of the entrance door missing like the DEA kicked it in. The room presented well however, every single thing I used had something wrong with it. The sink was difficult to use making it blast like a pressure washer or off.. the lights attached to the bed were loose or coming off so it would fall and hit the pillows.

I went to take a shower, the plunger for the tub was down which I thought was odd, lifted it up to drain when I noticed and it just never drained during the duration of the shower…. It wasn’t until the morning that it emptied.

Extremely over priced for the garbage quality of every aspect of our room. I’m thoroughly dissatisfied.

Extremely friendly! The room was clean, and I was able to set the air conditioning to a nice, low temperature, which is the only way I’m able to fall asleep. I was able to watch one of my favorite movies on the TV, and they even gave me complimentary snacks when I checked in!

The only benefit of this hotel is the location. The rooms are filthy, the hallways are filthy. The floors were sticky.
We were with a group that had three rooms. Our room was not clean, there was black stuff in the toilet and debris, crumbs and trash on the floor.
The second room had curtains that wouldn’t close and the bathroom tiles had no grout so you could completely remove tiles from the floor.
You can see where there has been water damage and seems like there is likely mold in several areas.

Not sure who owns this, but what a nightmare, was a Holiday Inn, brought out by Taron B. We had a show we were attending across the street, so was convenient, down side was came in never was told the internet was down, so after tying to get on, still had work to do, so I called the front desk they told us no internet and they should of told us when we walked in, but that's not the end of it, room was semi cleaned light bulb in bathroom burnt out, shower had a black ring around it and yes, when I used there wash cloth to see if it was just dirt some of it did come off, noticed mold on the ceiling and wall in the bathroom, than to top it off, I was in a room next to the service door so was awaken by sounded like loud bombs going off and mental scraping, it was I'm sure garbage pick up, that was at 3:10 am, next wake up was the delivery from there distributor, around 5 am, so got up to get in the shower and now water, but a little dripple, called front desk she said she had many calls and the manager comes in at 7 am, by around 730. was back on but didn't even have time to take one since I had to be to work by 730, all for the price of $159. wow, I travel a lot and I've always had great stays at Holiday Inn, not sure when they sold but there sign is still out there, gives them a bad name. I have a feeling the water was down when we came in that day, because it was a small stream of water at the sink in both bathroom and in the coffee area, not a good start for a new business. And no coffee in lobby!

Nothing worked, every amenity closed. Wrong sign on front of building. Bags of trash left in the hallway. Entrances and exits that don’t open. Cant even get a snack or a water there. Wouldn’t give me a receipt when i left. I called, emailed and chatted with them and took over a month to respond stating they cant do anything. Only positive thing about the place is i didn’t die and i left. I would rather sleep on the streets than stay there again. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!

Worst hotel experience ever. Charged me 4 times initially as no one understands the system. The pool, restaurant, ice machines, vending machines, complimentary coffee are all out of order, but of course no notification for this. Check in was 40 + mins, checking out is just as ridiculous...if any of this could have been delayed I wouldn't be leaving a review. Awful. Location is about the only thing this place has going for it....look at the main page, not even a note that they are under any changes.

Georgie is an amazing person! She helped me with my room and setup and everything. She will get whatever you need and go beyond the call of duty for you to make your day! Y'all are lucky to have her on board! She's a keeper!
