This place is amazing! We had the best time dog sledding! It was an experience we’ll never forget. Not only did we get to dog sled, but we were given the opportunity to pet the dogs and snuggle with newborn puppies. Everything we needed to sled was provided. The hosts are professional, yet friendly and accommodating. You won’t be disappointed!

I cannot recommend the northern lights package enough. My wife and I decided on the northern lights package for our honeymoon and we're so glad we did! Three days of adventures including snowmobiling, dog sledding, and ice fishing! The staff were the nicest people and Jeff was amazing. He gave us a great class on the northern lights and was super knowledgeable. The lodging was great, and the food was even better. We were lucky enough to catch a trout on our ice fishing excursion and they kept it fresh and cooked it up for lunch for us. We learned so much about the ecology of Alaska and the overall culture and were even taken to a frozen marsh to play around on the snowmobiles to our hearts content!

This adventure was amazing! A true Alaskan experience! Our guide was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the sport, Alaska in general and of course the dogs! She explained the history behind the sport, showed us the sled and the route for the big race and answered every question we had about all of it. Then we got to meet the dogs, see how they are harnessed into a lead and she explained how they put a team together and what goes into preparing for a run. The dogs were incredibly sweet and you could tell how well cared for they were.

All in all this was an amazing experience and I would absolutely recommend it to everyone looking for a true Alaskan adventure!

Went with my organization for a team building day, it was amazing. These guides know their environment and are educators about the sport. The host takes you on a fun journey of how they became, good food provided, fun orientation to the property, introduction to the dogs and they are so sweet, then you get to see the awesome power of these animals. The animals are loved and cared for more than most pets, really appreciated the therapy provided to the dogs and being a part of learning how to do that. A worthwhile experience!

Absolutely would recommend Snowhook! Bryan was our guide and he definitely gave us a trip of a lifetime. He took us to a high elevation where we had an amazing view! This outfit is top notch! From. The ATVs to the tours. We were so impressed with everything about them. If you were in Alaska, you must take a tour with them.

We are on our honeymoon trip from Wisconsin & had an awesome time with the dogs at Snowhook Adventures. Our guide Jeremiah, was very knowledgeable & before our ride, explained the history of dog sledding, the commands & about the jobs of the dogs on the line. He also made sure we all felt comfortable being around the dogs. He took great photos too. Thank you for keeping your prices affordable so both of us could have a ride.

Our guide Lindsay was amazing!! I thought this tour would be us going through a couple of mud puddles and staying on easy trails....boy was we wrong!! Through the woods, rivers and mountains!! We took the 4 seater without a windshield and that was the best choice we could have made. Was in Alaska for 10 days and this was definitely the best money spent!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone and their family!!

I could not have asked for a better way to finish up a long weekend in Anchorage. I found Snowhook Adventures online and am very glad I booked a tour for today. It turned out that I was the only one in the group for 9:00am so I had Matt as a private tour guide for the morning. He put me in the snow, ran us in some deep water and took me up to grab some fantastic pictures on this clear day. The snow is melting and the water is rushing right now. I was able to finish off the experience with a delicious burger back at home base and spend some time with the sled dogs before leaving. Matt had to go from one tour straight into another from ATVs to the sled dogs so I was able to love on the pups a bit before leaving. All the staff were warm, welcoming and inviting!!
