On a recent trip from carrabelle to freeport, I had engine problems and had to call sea tow. Well they brought me to this marina so we could tie up for minute and try and get the motors back running... before we even got close to the dock, a very rude Mexican guy told us we weren't able to tie up and we needed to leave .... didn't even ask why we were wanting to do... just " no..
You cannot tie up here... go away". Needless to say. Even the sea tow guy was like what is his problem... so I can promise you I will never recommend this marina for any kind of business.

The main course items were very good. Prices have increased and there were items no longer served since the last time we there. Cheesecake slices are very bland and expensive for a tiny slice. Info only, there is an upcharge for using debit and credit cards.

Went to get wotk done on suzuki engine. Kept me there a week at 3dollars a ft over 1000 dollars . Never fixed engine but told me they did . Out in bay where quit. I would skip appalocicola all together. Carrebella smaller nut nicer

Doug really helped us get on the fish! When Doug talks...people listen! What else can you ask for?!?! Thank you Doug. Gas was reasonable and the dock and tackle shop service was great too. They had the exact bait and tackle we needed! Highly recommend! The buoy wall photo spot was priceless!

Sat on porch for almost 40 minutes without being acknowledged. Approached bar to discuss with young man at bar to make sure we would be served. Very much disinterested in our problem.

Stopped here after a long Gulf crossing and spent the night. Fuel price was reasonable, the people were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant on the property provided a great seafood meal. The ships store had quite a few items available and there are showers, restrooms and a free laundry if you need it. I would highly recommend Scipio Creek Marina to anyone looking for a transient slip and a place to rest after a long trip. We plan to ensure our next trip includes another stop here.
