Literally the CLEANEST bed sheets I have seen in a hotel in a long time. The staff is SO SWEET. They are the definition of southern hospitality, down to leaving notes in my room wishing me a nice stay. The picnic area is really nice as well.

I stayed there Friday and Saturday (Dec 12-13). For a 2-star hotel it was the staff that took it up a notch. They were super friendly. Also, it was clean and comfortable which is exactly what I needed when visiting my family-who are renovating their home and don't really have room for a guest. So, all in all, if someone is just looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay, I would recommend. Oh, also ate in the restaurant for lunch when I got there. Food was fine and server was super friendly.

Don't do it! I've slept in hotel rooms around the world and without exaggeration this was the worst hotel stay of my life. First time I've ever stayed in a hotel room and slept with my clothes on. We requested a non smoking room and got...you guessed it...a smoking room. Management said it was because the hotel was fully booked and unavoidable. The smell of cigarette smoke hit me as soon as I opened the door. The smell of smoke so strong, I put my suitcase back in the car. The comforters on both beds were stained and on my bed also torn, there was a hole in the wall where the hair dryer should have been, the wallpaper was ripped, the smoke detector was missing, the nightstand lamp was rusty, the curtain had a cigarette burn in it, and the grab bar was missing in the tub. The room was so bad I refused to stay in it the second night i had it booked. We left a day early. In future, I'll sleep in my car before I stayed here again.

An excellent place to spend your night. The staff was extremely polite. The establishment and rooms were clean and there was a very good breakfast.

We have family in the area and have stayed at this hotel on and off for the past 6 years. It's been on the decline but seems to be struggling to improve. Unfortunately, it didn't show during this visit. There was a cover on the bed but no blanket and it's March! One room had no heat at all. I turned on my HVAC which gurgled all night. When I returned to my room that evening I found the carpet soaked. Tried calling the front desk but the phone didn't work. I wanted to tell them about the problem when I checked out the next morning, but there was no one at the front desk. The safety bar in the shower fell off as I gripped it, the hot and cold water indicators are backwards, and both rooms had trouble adjusting the water temperature (I was almost scalded). This is a weekly stay hotel for contracters doing construction in the area. They pay 1/3 of what regular guests pay, take over the hotel, and are generally loud, inebriated, and vomiting. Our only good experience here was the delightful and professional woman at the front desk when we checked in. Oh, The food at the adjoining restaurant is good, but beware of the vulgar construction drunks at the adjoining bar.

Warning do not stay here! It is dirty, dusty and dated! Sheets and comforters stained disgusting! Was very disappointed with state of the room. In addition to the sheets being stained, furniture was dirty, and the shower was in a horrid state. |Stacey the cook was nice and helpful.
