This was not the place I planned to go to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday in NH. I just saw it on a booking app. I didn't expect much. But the hotel made me feel more wonderful than anything. The staff was very enthusiastic and the 3 adorable golden . My boyfriend even got a birthday greeting. The room and view were great despite the heavy snow. We were quite surprised that such a great place didn't have many reviews. They have bagels and muffins, egg coffee and other baked goods,.. try it and experience it as I said or not. We will come back next time we are in New Hampshire. Everything here is quiet, neat and clean. We arrived on Thursday night and we were the only guests that day. We checked in and there was a lady with glasses that day and she had difficulty walking. I really appreciated her enthusiasm to help us make hot chocolate. She was so sweet. Thank you for giving us a great experience. I am a very picky person but this place makes me happy and feel warm. It is worth the money and wonderful. Come and experience. You will feel like me.

Wonderful time and what a great stay! The staff were terrific the food excellent and the rooms oh so clean. We so enjoyed the beautiful grounds especially in the evening when the sounds of night surround you. The bed was so comfortable and you could enjoy the view of the lake from in the bed. ||Clean, clean, clean, did I mention it was CLEAN!!||The hotel is located in the heart of Laconia but you would forget that when your there. It pretty much feels like your in the deep woods by a beautiful lake.

Full of Surprises
My husband and I just spent a week here and we could not have been happier. This will be our go-to from now on. The people are so nice we felt like we were back home in South Georgia. I will say, after visiting this area for the past three years, we have found the people of Laconia across the board to be quite friendly. (Shh…we don’t want word to get out and them lose the quaintness of the town). The views of Lake Opechee in the morning and evening from our room were magnificent. The room, well appointed and roomy, with a fireplace and down feather-topper bed and plenty of down pillows made us feel like we were getting a hug every time we returned to our room each night. One of the greatest surprises about the Inn were the four-legged greeters and hosts - three golden retrievers. We lost our two Goldens a few years ago, so to get some golden love while we were there was just icing on the cake. We never ate in the attached restaurant because we ate our meals with family in their homes but it seemed like an excellent place to dine and we plan to check it out next time we visit. The story behind the Inn and the family who decided to resurrect the historical building certainly added to the charm. And for us, finding a Bible in the side table was just another God-wink that we were in the right place. So many wonderful memories made this year. Thank you Melissa, Tammy, Cathy and others. Enjoyed a relaxing week-long stay at the Lake Opechee Inn and Spa! It was my first time visiting the New Hampshire Lakes Region and definitely wanted an accommodation that offered a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere and was also centrally located and easy to get around. This hotel definitely delivers on all of the above! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and immaculate. There are plenty of on-site amenities to enjoy including a soaking pool, billiards room, and a rejuvenating spa. A free continental breakfast is served each morning and is included with your stay. There is also a gift shop for souvenirs and keepsakes. Highly recommend to those looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay when visiting the region!

Always a wonderful experience - clean and cozy rooms, friendly staff and I love the dogs! It's a piece of paradise hidden in downtown Laconia. I try to visit at least once a year to relax and getaway. The spa and restaurant are convenient and make the stay even better. It's never a disappointment!

Beautiful spot on the lake if you're looking for some peace and relaxation. Rooms have fireplaces and jacuzzi.
