Stayed February of 2025 - Country Nectar room|A hidden gem in a small town!|An unforgettable weekend! The host let us check in late on a Friday, which is super nice. The whole experience was so nice. We wanted a quiet weekend away from the kids, and that's exactly what we got! We didn't leave our room the entire weekend except for going downstairs for breakfast, and going out to dinner both nights. Our room had a nice jacuzzi in the room, and it was so romantic.|The outside temperature was sub-zero, and there's no forced air heat in the bedroom we stayed in. However, the bed was super comfy with big warm blankets, and the host supplied ample space heaters for the room. We were not cold at all, even though there was literally a blizzard outside.|The bathrobes that were supplied were a nice touch, and we wore them pretty much all weekend since we really didn't leave our room for two days, lol.|The bedrooms are upstairs, and there's a nice little coffee bar in the shared hallway.|The first floor of the house is decorated very, very nice. There are several "parlor" rooms with books, games, and comfy furniture and soft music playing.|We didn't see or hear other guets the whole weekend, except for sitting with another couple at breakfast. Our room had a sound machine that you could put by the door, but we honestly didn't even know there were other people in the house at all it was so quiet and peaceful.|The host cooked a nice little breakfast for us, which was perfect.|The whole house was clean, comfy, and made for a super romantic and intimate weekend.|At breakfast we connected with a few other couples who were all staying there for the 2nd or 3rd time, and it's easy to see why they came back. This is truly a hidden gem!|There's a few good little local bars within walking distance, and then there's two supper clubs less than 15 minutes away.

This place is an absolute hidden gem! My husband and I came here for 3 days and it's the most relaxing little vaycay!! Kristen (the owner) was welcoming, informative, helpful, kind, generous, and made us feel like her house was ours. She does everything possible to make your stay cozy in the smallest ways. Her attention to detail is amazing. The house was SPOTLESS and our room was thoroughly clean when we arrived. The sheets on the bed are INSANELY SOFT, and the breakfast was delish (although, even without breakfast, we still would've had a lovely time. It was just an added perk!) ||My husband and I are in our early 40s, so to be clear, this is coming from a couple who has traveled all over the US and experienced many different airbnbs, hotels, and BNBs. The Honeybee Inn is at the very top of our list as far as unique, relaxing, quiet and quaint little getaways are concerned.||Honestly, this place is totally worth a visit if for nothing else than the charm. And all the attention to detail with the extra add-on packages, bee-themed art, and even 24/7 coffee and tea areas throughout the house! She's thought of everything 🙂 If we ever have the chance, we will DEFINITELY come back! (And buy the coffee mug! Such a cute souvenir!)

This was my first time staying at a B&B. I was given the experience as a Christmas gift and I can say without a doubt, that I am hooked on the Honeybee Inn Bed & Breakfast. | The Honeybee Inn is absolutely beautiful. I loved the fact that we had our own room, as well as full access to all of the rooms downstairs which had plenty of activities to explore. There were puzzles, games, a piano, a stocked library with an array of books and plenty of seating to just hang out and relax. The breakfasts we had were delicious and I loved how Kristen themed the meals. Speaking of Kristen the Inn keeper, she did a fantastic job of making us feel welcomed, answering any questions we had, making sure we were happy and comfortable during our stay, and just over all making us feel like we were at home. I can not say enough good things about the town of Horicon, which I had never heard of before our trip there. Every person we encountered was friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend the Honeybee Inn Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for an outstanding experience! Thank you Kristen!!

We visited the Horicon Marsh area and booked the Honeybee. It is a lovely B & B, and Kristen is very accommodating. It is a perfect location for exploring the marsh area (which we thoroughly enjoyed!). The Inn is not just lovely, it is well kept and clean. Kristen’s cleaning person does a great job. I dropped a pill on the bathroom floor and had to get on my hands and knees to look for it. The floor under the sink was every bit as clean as the outside floor as well as all the baseboards. We recommend the Honeybee highly.

This Bed and Breakfast exceeded all of my expectations. This was mine and my husband’s second stay at the Honey Bee Inn, first time was in January of this year. The home is just lovely, with lots of personality. We stayed in the same room as last time, very cozy and sounds of relaxing melodies played on the rooms speaker greeted us upon arrival. Other guests were in the home during our stay, but all were respectful and pleasant. It truly feels we were alone even when others were present. ||Our host Kristen is exceptional. Her communication before and upon arrival was very welcoming and informative. She gave w recommendations of things to do, places to eat and see. We had a great breakfast one of our mornings, which she prepared for us. The smell of a savory breakfast made it to our room which lived up to the name of a Bed and Breakfast. If you are a dog lover like me, then Winnie will be ready for your belly rubs at the Inn. I just love that little girl. I will be staying at the Inn every time when visiting family. Thank you Kristen for your hospitality!

This was our second visit to the Honeybee Inn Bed & Breakfast because our first visit was such a great experience. Kristin is an exemplary host. The house has many spaces to relax in and all are furnished and decorated so that they invite you to stay and enjoy. You have options to enjoy breakfast at the Inn, have a breakfast to take with you on your day's adventure, or no breakfast, with appropriate price adjustments. We knew from our first visit that breakfast at the Inn is wonderful. On this visit, we wanted to support some of the other small businesses in Horicon. We can highly recommend Mother's Day restaurant for breakfast, lunch or whenever. Everything we have had there was made from scratch and truly good! We also recommend Blue Heron Landing as a place for coffee and treats, and also for their boat tours of the local marsh along the Rock River. Beyond this, you can explore the expansive Horicon Marsh Wildlife Area, which is under the Wisconsin Dept of Natural Resources. Horicon and Mayville (nearby) are great small towns to wander in and explore the small businesses. For places to eat, particularly dinner, we also recommend Ginger's Hide Away in Horicon and the Marsh Inn in nearby Kekoskee.
